I personally got everything I wanted out of going to Jackson's which was this video so I didn't have any ruffled feathers. What is unfortunate is that they put out really good food here and I wish I could have highlighted them properly. I still recommend people eat here. This is the best steak deal I've come across in my food exploration so far. Thanks for watching!

They completely disrespected you and your wallet; they’ll get no business from me based upon how they treated you while their dining room was virtually empty. My favorite gaming pub/ bars are Born and Raised in Henderson and The Distill in Southern Highlands. Would love to see your review of those establishments

Totally professional, you reviewed more than just the ribeye steak special showing all the hits & misses. The ribeye is definitely the star of the show, some appetizers good. Everything else not worth it. Shame on the restaurant management for not willing to portion out your order.

That's a shame though. Honestly, they have talented people in the kitchen. For the quality of ingredients they're working with, they put out a lot of excellent food. The issue I experienced is going to be very unique to me. I think the average diner would actually appreciate their order coming out quickly. But your dollar is ultimately your dollar and spend it how you wish! Thanks for watching!

I'm not mad about it so I'd rather them not. I got everything I wanted out of this interaction. I got my video. I wanted them to get what they deserved, which is a big spotlight on their kitchen because they do have talented people back there. It's probably a one time issue they'll never have to deal with again. I doubt anyone comes through and orders half the menu up front. Thanks for watching!

I'm a server and if the kitchen didn't want to accommodate, I would have done it myself. The server could have easily rang in your food in shifts so that it would have came out when you were ready. Sounds like the whole establishment is pretty set in their ways and would rather make guests eat cold food and give subpar reviews than be bothered to do their job: cook food and serve it hot. Disappointing considering there are more than enough restaurants and gaming bars to go to in town.

I have to give you kudos for judging the food as fair as possible under the circumstances. I'm not sure what happened to the "customer is always right", but I was disappointed for you that you couldn't try everything hot right out of the kitchen. I gave them the whole order ahead of time so that they kitchen could be aware of what was coming as a courtesy. I'm not sure what happened, but I don't know both sides of the story so I don't want to judge. I got everything I wanted out of going to Jackson's which is the video. Have you ever had the Irish pub on Tropicana Just pass the Orleans going west on the right hand side McMillins they have the Absolute Hands Down best Fish & Chips in the City and a good order of Hot Wings but it was the spot for Fish & Chips that I put the brakes on and stop searching 😋 😇😋Great Portions great prices and great Chips and of course the Fish is perfect 🥰

I have had their ribeye steak dinner a couple of times and it was great both times. I ordered a glass of Merlot with it; perfect. Best steak deal in Vegas.

Thank you for another solid video, Shin! The delicious-looking appetizers had me hyped to try this place out, but after finding out that they chose not to stagger all the dishes was a complete turn off! Someone couldn't set their ego aside to easily help a guest have the best dinning experience? Especially one dropping that kind of coin? They completely dropped the ball here.

It's unfortunate that they brought the food out all at one time because all of it looked really good to me. I'm kind of a plain food eater so it all looked like my kind of stuff. Good decent food, reasonable prices, food always comes out piping hot, no waitstaff hovering around our table trying to get more tips for so called ‘service’…..it’s one of our go-to restaurants when we are in Vegas. Thanks for the smorgasbord of food displays Shin, really appreciate it🎉

I’ll say it again, I can’t stand Cold food that’s supposed to be Hot! That right away would have been a Big Turn Off for me. Ordering that much without hardly anyone in the restaurant and they can’t oblige your request is ridiculous. Thank You Shin for such a wonderful Mid-Week treat Video ❤

I think the owner or manager if they were not involved need to go to the decision maker on this-the cook perhaps or most likely, and have a long talk with them. This was their opportunity to gain a real set of new local and tourist business and frankly they blew it.

Shin, there was coconut cream pie and carrot cake on that dessert menu and you chose pumpkin pie? How dare you? I was totally bummed out by that. Great review though, I love Reuben's!!!!!!

I have to admit for the first time I have 0 complaints about pricing and overall after a few drinks you wouldn't care that the cheese steak looked liked it had its last party 24 hrs ago. But that Ribeye is why you go there not the cheesesteak and it is obvious.

I would not call the food here sub-par. They have talent in the kitchen. There are strip restaurants that won't season their vegetables for a burger. For the quality of ingredients they're working with, they put out really good food. It was just unfortunate they didn't portion it out. Thanks for watching!

Hi Shin! Glad you went to Jackson's but it is SO sad they brought everything out at the same time. UGH. I still enjoyed your reviews as "in a perfect world" I think most of those dishes would have been great hot out of the kitchen. I fell in love w cheese curds in Minnesota years ago. Wings looked undercooked to me, skin not crispy enough. The $20 ribeye looks like the best draw to this place, followed by the reuben.

One of my pet peas or cold food even at home I hate reheating it in the microwave It depends on what it is now I use the air fryer. Lol. My brother goes at this restaurant mainly for breakfast. I’ve been there a couple of times I didn’t care too much for the food. I think a good local restaurant from Las Vegas is Village, pub decent food and decent prices

Jackson's do have good food their wings have always been a nice size that's what got me there was a recommendation to go there for the wings and then I discovered the bugers and fish and chips and then that great deal and Quality Steak and the fries are great .I have to still try the cheese steak but the Keno at the Bar is really good 👍

I would love to see you go to Buldogi's and review their Egg Drop sandwich (amount other things on the menu). Aloha Kitchen & Bar would be great and also Volcano Grille. Or they knew and the cook knows his food is ultimately good and doesn't need a random KZreadr to say so lol. I do think they make good food here. It was just an unfortunate circumstance for a unique situation like mine that the average patron wouldn't experience I think. I still recommend eating here. Thanks for watching!

Were they at least apologetic or were they rude about it? When I was there the service was very friendly and the ribeye was great. Also love the thick slice sourdough with butter and strawberry jam. The Thai massage place next door is very good btw, and next door to that is a place you can buy live seafood 🦞

@@VegaswithShin so funny I came here tonight and ordered ribeye and buffalo wings and they brought them out at the same time… so the wings didn’t get touched lol. But the ribeye was great as usual, and huge this time around

shame on the restaurant Shin, good review, most of the food looks like the typical bar food for some reason. This is one place I'll be passing up on, look forward to more of your videos, keep them coming.

There was no reason to not spread out the delivery of the food. Bring the breakfast items out first and then the dinner entrees. The place was not crowded.

I guess you'd have to order one thing at a time at this place to get things hot, lol! Still it looked pretty good and reasonably priced. It's too bad they didn't want to accommodate your request especially since you ordered $200 worth of food for 2 people.

The best places are off strip. The neighborhood places keep the quality up, because that is where the locals have a tendency to go and eat.

I miss my days I would walk to Jerry's. That would never happen again. I was never afraid. I lived in NLV and loved all my local eateries. It has been a long time. Maybe I wouldn't walk around NLV today.

With all the money you spent on your menu selections, the kitchen should have sent it as requested. No excuse for laziness and disrespect. Shame on you, Jacksons. Me and mine will never darken your door step.

As a former kitchen worker, the kitchen usually "closes" around 2pm and opens again around 4 to 5. And no, we are not paid high $ and are not usually the owners. So please don't be ignorant on your comments and try to be considerate of other professions. Most work in kitchens are hard, long hours, and not high-paying jobs. Lastly, most avg priced restaurants don't make much! So be realistic with your expectations. From their prices, you are getting a great deal.

Lazy Cook It shouldn't matter if it got busy or not they should be able to put the food out a little bit at a time. By the way I've never mentioned in the comments that I was classically trained as a chef at one of the finest culinary schools that was around back in the 80s San Francisco Culinary Academy. I worked in restaurants for 22 years and was written about in Bay Area newspapers and stuff for my Innovative California Cuisine menus. I walked out of the restaurant business about 20 years ago and believe it or not I own a trucking company now and I'm more happy than I ever was as an executive chef and an executive sous chef where I worked my life away

This was very disturbing to us. We love your content and character. The food looked great all be it cold. The disrespect of the food “abuse” and let’s not forget food safety is more than once again …alarming. Shin we hope there is follow up on this disastrous event. For the average patron, I don't think anyone would run into issues. I think most would want their food out as quickly as possible. My situation was very unique to me. I'm not sure why they couldn't course out the menu, but I'm not upset by it at all. I got everything I wanted out of the experience. I got to make a video. The real shame is that I couldn't highlight this restaurant the way I wanted because their food is really good. Thanks for watching!

Shin, I just subscribed to your channel, I love the reviews, especially Blueberry Hill. Have you ever reviewed the Golden Steer? Frank Sinatra loved it there. In hindsight since they would not accommodate your simple request …maybe order just the appetizers; then when they bring them out then order the main dishes, then when they bring them out then order the handhelds. No excuse for what they did. …yea “if the restaurant should get busy”. It looked almost dead. That was insulting! I would never go back for that reason alone.

I've been interested of coming here one day when I heard about the $20 ribeye steak. Looks pretty good. Too bad they didn't want to portion out your order especially when they were slow at 2pm.

First your hair cut looks great! Secondly you are very gracious with your review. I would never eat at that restaurant based on the fact they did not listen to how you wanted your order prepared. Especially thinking about the cost of all those items you ordered. They should have been more accommodating to you

Glad you like the hair! I was not being gratuitous. I do think they have talent in the kitchen. There are strip restaurants that won't season their vegetables in a burger. I'm not sure why they didn't portion it, but ultimately it's a shame for them because I wish I could have highlighted this restaurant properly. Thanks for watching!

People commenting, blaming the kitchen have not worked in a restaurant. The kitchen makes the orders as they come in. The server controls the pacing of meals. She could have rang up your food a few items at a time. Sounds like she just sent it all, then backtracked and blamed the line. Anywho 😅 enjoying the videos Shin!
