Ummm....I'm not sure. It's a historical fantasy with some horror aspects that I could see you getting bored, but also being fastinated by it. It does a portion of the book that takes place at a school. So if any of that sounds interesting, I say try it. Becca did read it, but I don't remember if she gave it 3 stars or DNF'd it. Sorry this wasn't a straight forward answer. >.

I just finished the ARC of The Sky on Fire and it was really fun, but I love Chorus of Dragons more!! Very cool dragonrider bond though, definitely rivals the one in Fourth Wing ;))) And ooooh so many beautiful books coming our way!! I am also super curious about The Gods Below and The Wraith King, please let them be as good as they sound 👀

I totally agree, this quarter is STACKED. For me personally... July brings Bury Your Gays by Chuck Tingle, Navola by Paolo Bacigalupi, and Long Live Evil by Sarah Rees Brennan. (You might like that one: a woman from our world dies and is reborn into the world of her favorite story as the protagonist's evil stepsister. This suits her just fine as it allows her to get close to her favorite character and crush - the evil overlord.) August is pretty empty for me (I have an ARC of The Madness by Dawn Kurtagich) but I agree about September! It's going to kill me. Next book in the Talents trilogy, Bringer of Dust. New Kiersten White book, Lucy Undying. Sapphic dark academia A Dark and Drowning Tide will finally be coming out. Two trans horror books: Old Wounds and Compound Fracture. So Thirsty! And also yay for Immortal Dark! The first edition has sprayed edges and nice end papers.
