I have liked and enjoyed the music of the Beach Boys since the sixties , i always thought there was a certain rivalry between Brian Wilson, and Mike Love. Brian always came across as a very nice person and talented as he did write their songs and i think Mike who also wrote for the group was maybe a bit jealous. Anyway thats my opinion. As to the others i have heard of some of them but not others

If still alive, Lou Reed would have to be on the list. Not only did he ripp off his fellow musicians in The Velvet Underground for copyright issues, but he often was quite ignorant towards his audiences, very often bad mouthed other musicians and usually had hassle with the press ( which to a certain extent is understandable).

In my experience working at a record store and having got on plenty of guest lists and backstage passes back in the 90's, club bands were usually pretty safe, fun guys and into talking with their fans. Arena acts were the ones you wouldn't want to meet.
