Mania 28, Taker v HHH - I was there, nothing has ever come close to that kick out for a pop from me at a live event.

My Mom passed away last year. She watched one match in the past 5 years with me and it was AJ vs Cena and she jumped out of her seat when Styles kicked out of the Super AA!

Asuka's final kickout against Ember Moon at Brooklyn III was pretty awesome

The Omega Revolution kick out I was screaming "HOW DARE YOU!" when they hit the golden trigger and Kenny's kick out was like we shared a brain. "How dare you hit me with my finish with Ibushi?!" Pinnacle of cinema right there.

I get chills thinking about JR's scream of shock, Michaels yelling "Streaks overs, Streak's over" then 1, 2, OOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Taker's streak can be summed up in 3 glorious moments beaten and holding the World title at Mania 23, Super tombstoning Shawn to end his career, and that crowd roaring kickout

Not gonna lie, that Omega Kickout at 1 had me jumping out of my chair at home.

I remember an epic kick out I had back 1996 during my backyard wrestling days. I kicked out of my friend's epic finisher when I wasn't suppose to and he was pissed. So we climbed to the roof of his house and he suplexed me off of the roof on to the trampoline below. The trampoline broke and we hit the ground. He pinned me 1, 2, 3. We both walked away with no injuries. We were invincible when we were young.

Im watching on both channels just because

"He beat Andre the Giant with that move!" is my favorite wrestling call ever and I wasn't even watching wrestling when it happened. You couldn't help but think about wrestling history when Hogan started Hulking up and the crowd had been treating him like Golden Era Hogan all night, then JR--roaring with emotion over an all-time massive pop--puts the cherry on top by telling us who Hulk Hogan, a character many of us have known our entire lives, is. A beautiful sequence from everyone in the building that night. Truly special.

I can't stand Hogan as a worker or a personality and I've always said that Rock/Hogan at Mania X8 is the only Hogan match I like. It's an amazing example of storytelling and crowd work.

I know it's super fresh and without a crowd it didn't have that same response we desire but Drew kicking out at one was absolutely immense and the fact it was done in an empty arena shouldn't take away from it

The Borck’s kick-outs are always that much sweeter when Heyman is losing it on the outside

Dolph Zigglers kick out vs the miz was amazing, you really thought it was over for him.

Jay White at Wrestle Kingdom 15 is one of my favorites. He lifts his shoulder up half an inch and it’s so good!

When I see videos like this my love for wrestling increases a little more

You got number one right that’s for sure I remeber seeing that live and man I thought it was done

I am so glad the narrator mentioned HOW CRUCIAL that extra half second is with a kick out. IT MEANS EVERYTHING!!! KICKING OUT AT A 2.5 COUNT CHANGES THE ENTIRE MATCH. That half second of unknown IS what makes wrestling great. A few match could have been so much better with a slightly later kick out.

Some suggestions: -10 WORST THINGS both WWE and WCW did with the Big Gold Belt. - 20 Underdog championship happy endings in Wrestling. - 10 Mistakes WWE did Its Women's Division (so far). - 10 best Wrestlemania OPENING MATCHES. - 20 coolest and most creative chants in WWE history. - 10 wrestlers that improved a lot after a tag team split.

That Hell in a Cell match is probably one of, if not the best match I've seen when it comes to in-ring storytelling. Not to mention the three men standing together at the end...a curtain call for the Attitude Era.

Mannn your voice is funny yet it gives drama,by the way my favorite kickout maybe it's the most silliest is when Kyle O'Reilly kickouts the burning hammer tandem offense of Moustache Mountain from NXT TakeOver Brooklyn 4. Boy oh boy deep down I know it could be a false finish because it's not the finishing move of Moustache Mountain but the way that Bate covered the vulnerable body of O'Reilly then O'Reilly kickouts and the camera zoomed his face full of sweats...mann it's a memory worth reliving for million times

# 6 is the only I never heard of but by watching it's on of those "Wait, that shouldn't be legal" moments in NJPW booking history.

Roman kicks out of everything yes, but a few of his kickouts have been amazing as to the lastest point of kickouts. Him kicking out of Running Powerslam with kayfabe injured shoulder was a thing of beauty.

My personal favorite kick-out is one that hardly anybody even knows about, Kota Ibushi kicking out of the one winged angel back in 2012!

Some other mentions imo: - Dominik Dijakovic (NXT Takeover Portland) - Sting (TNA Slammyversary 2013) - The Fiend (Hell in a Cell 2019) - The Undertaker (Wrestlemania 26, 27 and 29) - Brock Lesnar (No Way Out 2004) - Kane (Wrestlemania 14)

Shout-out to shibata vs ishii at the g1. The kick out at 1 followed by the kick out at 2 followed by the kick out at 3.1 was the best way to end the most brutal match I've seen before dragunov vs walter

Mine were Pete dunne vs Tyler bate at takeover Chicago which one both of them they both had incredible kick outs there were multiple times where I thought bate or dunne was going to win that match was awesome

A great kickout is one of the things that can separate a merely awesome match from an all time classic, taking the match to the next level in an instant.

Jerry Lawler vs the Miz for the wwe championship at the Elimination Chamber. Lawler reverses a pin by the Miz into a crucifix pin, the Miz waits till 2.75 to kick out. The crowd buy it hook line and sinker. It was a surprisingly good match that I think gets over looked.

I was at Wrestlemania 25 Taker vs Michael's. That match had me and my friends in the crowd go heel on our surrounding fellow ticket purchasers.

To me one of the best kickouts was the miz and roman reigns on raw during IC championship match. Finisher kickouts are rare on free TV

Edge Vs Kurt angle Judgement Day 2002 hair Vs hair match had some very close near falls and tap outs and had take an inside cradle after edge reversed the ankle lock for the win. And it had some bloody brutal suplexes as well.

Kevin Owens at mania 33. One finger on the bottom rope. Classic move by a great character.

Sorry, this is a bit long but I think worth it. My favorite kick out was from Georgia Championship Wrestling around 1980 or 81. The Freebirds were taking on Ted DiBiase and the Junkyard Dog in a incredibly rare great TV match for the time. Toward the end of the bout Michael Hayes pulled the top rope down and Ted went over it, crashing to the floor. With the referee distracted Terry Gordy hit DiBiase with a piledriver on the concrete floor, way before the ringside had mats. Everyone thought he would get counted out but he made it back before the Ten count. Gordy then hit him with 3 more piledrivers, with Ted kicking out after each one. Finally Tommy Rich ran in and threw in the towel to stop the match. They played it very seriously, with him being stretchered away and having updates from the hospital, where he actually stayed for a week to sell the injury, before going home to "rest" /work in Japan fo a few weeks. It was Five weeks before he came back Georgia wrestling. That's how you kick out!!! Also, I think it is still on KZread. The quality is fairly poor because nobody saved the tapes back then. If someone smarter than me finds it, will you set up a link. It's a classic from the old days.

Dramatic kickouts are great, but since today's guys do it like 12 times a match, the impact of them has been severely minimized. Much like their finishers.

On the WWE side of the fence, my fave has got to be Shawn kicking out of the Tombstone at Mania25. For AEW, Omega's kick out at 1 after eating a Young Bucks Golden Trigger is my absolute fave. If I'm gonna choose between the two, I hafta give it to Omega's kick out just because of the amount of history in that one moment going way back when they were still in NJPW.

20 greatest moments in wrestling history

My favourite of all time is actually Undertaker kicking out of the Tombstone ay WM27. He survived 3 Pedigrees before which could already be unbelievable, but I mean, it's The Undertaker. But after all that HHH goes a step further to hit him with an even more devastating move - I totally bought the story that the only thing that can put Taker away is his own finisher. And then when he kicks out and Triple H reacts as he's seeing a legit demon in the ring, it's absolutely shocking. It also helps that Taker is also a master of kicking out at 2,99 to maximize the tension. That being said, WM28 was the first one I saw live as a still pretty young fan new to wrestling, and I don't think I've ever been more hyped for a match. That match and the big kickout moment are also legendary, but somehow I didn't believe it 100% that the streak will end there.

Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy: any kickout in the iconic Hell in a Cell match needs at least HM, because many of us were sure Lawler was right when he said "That's it; he's dead."

My favorite kick out was Goldberg kicking out of Hollywood Hogan’s leg drop on Nitro. You have to see it to understand how loud the fans were and how big of a shock it was. Bonus: what WOULD have been the most epic kick out ever in WWE would have been Booker T kicking out of the pedigree at Wrestlemania XIX and I will never let my disdain for how that match ended die.
