Just recently picked up Le male elixer and i absolutely love it. Warm, sweet, sensual get those hints of vanilla a tad of tobacco, bits of lavender and its just so nice to wear and i say definitely worth the money only second to dior elixer only because dior lasts a bit longer stronger and its a different mature scent

Perfection for me is dulce diablo and narco oasis.... My old lady bought me a sample of both for Christmas only 2 ml of each but makes me want a bottle of ether

I liked the video for including Rain Essence and Spicebomb Infrared EDP. Their ranking leaves a lot to be desired but its your list and your rules. Personally, i wouldnt rank clone fragrances over originals even if the latter is deemed boring or basic especially when the former is a known brand that makes copies which is definitely not original.

Huzzah! Just picked up all four of your scents for $60 in the 15ml & 10ml size. The GENTSCENTS code gave me a whopping $0 off but I see why, as $60 for all 4 is already a heck of a deal. I'll be buying full bottles of the ones I like to support.

Depends on what you can afford and whether or not you like Oud fragrances. Many people start their niche collection with Mancera or Montale because of the price.

Bvlgari Man Rain Essence is the opposite of mediocre. Yes it is simple, but really awesome. One of my favourite in the line.

Mr. Gent Scent I do have a question for either yourself or the fragrance community. Still slightly new collecting etc but I just got got a new bottle for Xmas, it’s a Eau de cologne spray and if I’m not wrong, that’s not a super high concentration compared to like a EDT even and especially EDP..but in order from least concentration to most wouldn’t it be, Eau de Fraiche, then you have the cologne spray, then EDT & EDP etc?

Yes. There aren't many Eau de Fraiche Men's fragrances that I'm aware of. It would be more like a very light refresher. You are correct in the concentration order: Eau de Cologne Eau de Toilette Eau de Parfum Parfum and Extrait de Parfum are kind of used interchangeably, I think. Elixir doesn't really have an official concentration, but they are usually around EDP concentration. Just because a fragrance has a higher concentration doesn't mean it will be stronger. Sauvage EDT is stronger than EDP. Also, concentration isn't the only difference. When a fragrance line puts out a new flanker, they often change some notes. Hope this helps.

Althair and Le Male Elixir are gonna be battling for the top spot long term. Those were some home run releases. They landed in the 15th row

Can't find SB Infrared EDP at 50ml size....

The dupe of Aventus Absolu is spot on for $33. I would even say it’s better because it’s an extrait. Usually out of stock but it’s a killer fragrance.

But still there is a hint of sweetness isn’t it? When I compare it directly to Sauvage, it is a little sweeter. Still focused on the spices though. Or it is just a feeling. But I‘m with you: I love it so much it was my christmas scent this year and I don‘t regret it🤓

Unlucky the Magnetic got announced late last year and did not make the top 10 last year and neither this year as is a 2022 release tehnically. I love Magnetic, imo it’s one of the best of the line.

Is Le Male Elixir getting the Bleu Electrique treatment from JPG? It is out of stock at a concerning amount of places right now.

Why do you think that?

Name a few of the best places to buy for international buyers, especially from mother Africa. Very easy to get ripped off here in the third world.

Can someone help give me advice, please? I'm looking for advice considering what fragrance/fragrances I should buy next. Personally, I have used many sweet fragrances because I'm 14 and these tend to smell great on my skin, some of these sweeter fragrances are Le Male Elixir and Invictus (I bought Invictus before learning everything about fragrances, however, I still do like the bubble gum-like smell to it). However, I have also worn other types of smells such as citrusy with Club De Nuit Intense Man, I enjoy the coconut smell of Le Beau Le Parfum being one of my favourites I have worn this summer (I live in Australia) and I also have Le Male Le Parfum, Bad Boy Cobalt EDP and Dior Sauvage (don't use this one too much, I think its too common and it was given to me as a gift). Additionally, I wouldn't like to spend more than AUD 250 ($170 USD, €154 Euros), as I have an income of around $100 per week. Additionally, I smelt Spicebomb Extreme and it didn't sit well on my skin being too harsh and spicy for my liking. I listed all my fragrances in this comment btw. TLDR - 14yo looking for advice for the fragrance he should buy next that's no more than AUD 250 ($170 USD, €154 Euros). Thank you :)

My bottle ALTHAÏR has definitely maturated since I got it. At first the scent was’t as dense, nor did it last that long. Now it’s borderline beastmode. I’ve even heard reviewers say that club black is stronger which is laughable, but they based the review on a sample.

You did Joop! Homme Le Parfum by Joop! justice. Still, I am sad that I am not seeing it, because of being 2022, of course.

I prefer bad boy extreme to victory elixir. Very similar though.

My top 8 favorite of the year is, 1. JPG Elixir 2. PDM Altiar 3. LV Pacific Chill 4. Invictus Victory 5. million Royal 6. YSL Y Intense 7. Hugo Boss Elixir 8. Gucci Gulity Elixir and 3 I wanna try and possible buy is Valentino born in Roma Intense, Prda ocean Edp and Spicebomb Infrared Edp

Boss bottled elixir was my first blind buy I’ve ever regretted. Way too mature for my style. Invictus victory elixir is my favorite fragrance of the year.

definitely NOT a compliment beast as ash said lol i got a sample of it and had to wash it off with babywipes and sanitizing wipes. its probably something id wear when i get to being 55 years old. theres better options for us young guys than boss elixir. that was my worst blindbuy too, and that was just a sample

I just got Boss Bottled Elixir today after having sampled it a few times. It's by far my favorite designer release of 2023. Le Male Elixir is a close 2nd but I'll wait to get it in 2024 .

I enjoy Boss Bottled Elixir. It smells different and offere amazing performance. It's so potent 2 sprays is all you need hence I got the 50ml bottle. I admire how bold the perfumers were and came up with something that smells unique and nothing like the Boss Bottled line.

I must have a weird sense of smell. I prefer Luna Rossa Ocean EDP to Sauvage EDP and Bleu de Chanel EDP.

Luna Rossa EDT is horrible off my skin. Has a grandma with BO vibe unfortunately. However the EDP is completely different and one of my most complimented scents.

Jean Lowe Immortal has a new competitor. Fragrance World Jacque Yves L'Infinite'.

I just got my first cologne for Christmas it was Versace Eros eau 😁

I remember after Guerlain L’homme Ideal Cologne got discontinued, I went on a cruise and on of the islands I saw a 50ml bottle for $20… and I passed on it 🤦🏻‍♂️ What the f*ck was I thinking?

Althair to me, smells like an orange vanilla root beer float, definitely don’t really like it, it’s just kinda of a weird combination to think to myself and say “today I want to smell like an orange root beer float”
