@@RyanClifford btw your Minecraft vr mod pack doesn't work properly on curse forge because 2 mods weren't the correct version so I made it work by putting in the correct versions also you never mentioned that shaders no matter what shaders don't work because they dont render properly in vr cause it has to be rendered twice and all shaders are usually made with flat screen in mind thus causing only one screen to be shaders in the headset

You started making these video right when I got into Minecraft VR. I'm so happy you're making this content as there doesn't seem to be many other VR videos

@@RyanClifford i may not know which mod it is but aparently there is a mod that allows you to hold an in game camera for minecraftvr i currently havent gotten it to work with my modpack but who knows ya might be able to.

@@RyanClifford A small suggestion would be to try and match the in game lighting with something like an LED lamp or any other light source you have around. Great video btw!

I started playing this mod pack the other day and it was the first time in years that I had so much fun in minecraft. So much so i lost track of time as i was building a house lol. Though the spiders definitely caught me off guard when I saw them crawl through a hole in my house and actually climb on the wall this is a great modpack and will definitely be playing a lot more

I looked around for VR modpacks and got one, I've been watching some KZread videos on Minecraft VR and if there are any improvements I could make and behold I stumble on the video of the modpack creator! Small world, thank you for your hard work putting this together

When taking the shots of you holding the camera you did a AMAZING job with the accurate lighting! 10/10!

Just watched all of your minecraft VR videos and omg I have never wanted to jump back into it more! the most ive done is a full vanilla VR hardcore world where i died in the enderdragon and I want to do it again with all these mods! thank for the motivation and keep up the good content! ;)

For Nether expansion I recommend Incendium! It adds a bunch of cool new biomes and structures and some items using only vanilla blocks! And it looks beautiful with shaders. Especially the Quartz Flats biome. Gorgeous with shaders

Not sure if this has been said but assumedly the reason why your fps is lower in the ocean temple is due to the bubble column particles. They tend to lag the game so to fix this just go to particles and either lower it or turn it off completely. Hope this helps!

If you want even more great mods that might work in VR you should try the mod Tetra, and the Continents mod with the Distant Horizons mod!

I love how it looks like you're actually in the minecraft world holding the camera

Another mod that would be good for this is classic 3D texture pack. it makes a lot of the 2D items in you inventory 3D like torches, minecarts, Ladders, rails, ect.

I finally got my hands on a vr compatible gaming pc and omg I installed these mods and it’s such a big improvement from quest craft

Add the grapplehook mod. 10/10 for VR. Having a way to climb down or up tall structures is more enjoyable with it

just by hitting half the refresh rate of your vr headset you can have somewhat of a nice experience thanks to motion reprojection in vr

Can you make a video on how to pit these mods into minecraft vr? I got the oculus 2 and love you're videos

the problem with yungs structures is that the vanilla structures were supposed to be abandoned, but yungs doesnt do that.

These mods are helping my vr experience a ton, thank you! How did you manage to get the physics mod ragdolls to work with fresh animations? Mobs die the default way when im using fresh animations, and it has apparently been a known conflict.

Oh that's annoying that the ragdolls aren't working! Unfortunately I prob won't be much help with your issue because they just worked for me! I didn't do any fix to get them working together. I did install physics mod first then fresh animations if that may help? :)

you should install dynamic trees, it makes trees better (as it says in its name) the trees have more branches and fall down whenever you cut the tree. sadly I think it's only for forge but you should check it out in your spare time is pretty kool

you should try using end remastered which forces you to explore your world before traveling to the end!

I prefer vanilla structures more, but video is good!

And also please try Terralith please it is so good and even better in VR.

I used BetterPortals as an alternative when I was making a modpack in an older version.

You should try Terralith.

May be pierce arrow to? May be even Fire arrows ignite fires not sure about that one.

It's still a good mod pack even without immersive portals

even with the extra fps mods, without any of the other mods that make the game better, my pc will still probably run at about 3 fps lol. But the actual mods look so good, and I really wish I could try it, Edit: with Questcraft 4.0, and future updates, this (maybe without some of the mods) might actually work standalone.

by the way, physics mod pro just went free (sad cause I just bought it last week)

If you want more performence, I recommend you to use more ram for minecraft. In the Launcher, go to installations. Then go to the 3 dots next to the profile. Then you have to click on advanced settings and the just change the XmX value to half of your ram.

I downloaded the modpack - which of course didn't because of Iris and Soium - which I installed - but they made new versions on the Minecraft Java page - so nope cannot get a working one version with them all together - I will investigate further.

How do you donwload these mods? I put these into the modpack and when I join into a vivecraft game the mods don't seem to have any effect... A little help please

Really love your minecraft vr videos. I also installed those mods and it is fantastic. But ive got some questions that i hope you can answer :) From the immersive mod: Do i need a backpack ingame to get this feature where all my items in my inventory are in a backpack or should it be there from beginning on ? To the shader: It looked really weird for me bec it seemed like the shader was only working on one eye/one side. Dont know if this is intended but for me it looks really odd and i hope it can be fixed somehow

Immersive Portals while cool, I wouldn't recommend, even if it did work. It's the biggest hit on performance out of any mod. Me and my friends used it in our modded world before (non VR) and I was getting 30-50 FPS with shaders and 60-80 without them. We did a test and after removing the mod, everyone jumped up. Even with shaders on for me, my FPS jumped to 140 on average, which is nearly a 300% increase

Would you be willing to try two mods that come to mind and see if they work well in your VR game? I've got a headset myself, but my current living area doesn't have enough space to safely try it out. First off, "Distant Horizons". I keep hearing a lot about the mod lately, and it got me thinking that if it worked in VR, it would make any high-up locations seem much more vertigo inducing and help with the sense of height. Second off, and this isn't really a "This will be immersive in VR" as much as the features being fun to see in VR, the "Create" mod. I think it'd be cool to see the spinning machinery up close, and some of the latest add-on mods are adding things like vehicles such as airplanes. You can't tell me flying a plane in VR through Minecraft, especially if "Distant Horizons" works as well, wouldn't be absolutely amazing.

Hi there! Well I can tell you I've tried distant horizons and it fits work! However when you put shader packs on it doesn't. So you'll have to make a choice between seeing far and having the game look pretty! I haven't tried the create mod so that'll probably one of the first ones I'll try out! @@RyanClifford Does VR use the same shaders as normal, or do you need to find special shaders that are compatible with VR? I recall seeing a video where somebody found a shader that worked, but I can't remember which one. Might be worth looking for.
