20 minute Low Impact Dance Workout to Brighten your Mood

Welcome to a short, no talking 20 minute low impact dance workout which will fire up those endorphins and brighten your mood! This dance workout is for anyone who loves to dance as a form of exercise. Besides dancing, I've added in moves to target the various muscles in the body to help tone and sculpt the body. This low impact fat burning workout is geared to get your heart rate elevated for all the great health benefits exercise brings. Have fun with the workout and think of it more as a dance party rather than it being exercise:) If you follow at my pace, the final step count is 2446 steps.

    Time flies so fast when you're having FUN 😊 I was just pushing myself to do at least one workout for the day, and before I knew it, I was dancing and sweating 💃 After what felt like a couple of minutes, whaaaat? We're on cool down already? 😁 I have been struggling with my mental health for the past month. I haven't been working out and eating properly which further pushed me in a cycle of regret and self-hatred. When I saw the notification about this premiere, I forced myself to get up and just do it. I'm so happy I did. I was reminded on how good it feels to give myself some form of care, through moving my body. Jules, you have immeasurable impact to so many people all over the world. I really cannot thank you enough for everything that you do. Thank you so much.

    Thank you SO much for your beautifully written comment. I'm sorry to read about the past month but today is a new day and you're starting it off so positively. I hope this workout will help to get you started each morning. It is often hard to get ourselves to work out but you're right, the benefits are absolutely worth it. It makes us think more clearly and positively and helps us to move forward in our day. Another great resource is 'Insight Timer' which is free mindfulness sessions (there is a website and app). You can pick and choose various mindfulness sessions which are great to use, even if it's 5 minutes a day. Thank you for taking the time to write your comment today which is super meaningful to me.     It takes a lot more time for me to use the window and I had mixed feedback on it. I'll likely use it again in the future when I figure out a faster way to edit with it:)

    This was great! I love how the timers and your T-shirt match :) Also, it was nice to see the previews, as opposed to describing them (I like either way, though). I also like the flexibility of doing our own thing every other time.

    Jules, thank you so much for this workout. At first I wasn't keen on the music, but now I love it and together with your smiley face, it is truly a joy to do this every day! I have two inguinal hernia's and so for many months did nothing out of fear of causing damage. But this inaction just led me down a path of depression and despair... until I found this workout! It is low enough impact not to cause me injury, but enough to get me moving again, shifting some pounds and raising my mood. And I love the lyrics in the last song! I am stronger than I think, thanks to you! So thank you once again! Blessings! x

    Your workouts give me a reason to get out of bed! I don't feel like I have to look like someone on Yoga Magazine. You look great in your workout tops & Yoga pants.     After not being able to work out for over a week, when I first started I thought it was a piece of cake! That didn't last. By the time I finished I was breathing hard and sweaty! BUT I did it and feel really good about it- because it felt so good! A little stronger today and a little more strong tomorrow! Thanks Jules!

    20, 01 2023 Hi Jules, it is kind you encourage me that I will get stronger but I am not putting in the work to be stronger. I have a strong resistance to any exercise that would physically challenge me and tire me overmuch. I only do workouts to move, and that means move each member of my body, to enjoy it and to stop me from having aches and pains from a rigid back etc. I do balance exercises to protect my future self, but I cannot bring myself to weight training to protect my bones. It is head knowledge. I know what I should do, but I cannot bring myself to do that, because those exercises are hard and l am weak.. This is the sad truth. I enjoyed the moves in this set and some of the music. Thank you.

    Fabulous fabulous..did this as per march schedule with strength one then added on 10 minute dance. Buzzzzing. I loved it and was good to do strength one and plank again. I'm defo going for every day in march with this fantastic timetable. Can't thank this kind person enough.....to have worked it all out and even put links there too. Incredibly thoughtful ❤️.     I start my day with this one then later in the day I often dance to the Mamma Mia or a similar dance with music routine . 😍👍👍

    At the very beginning of this video, I am so happy to see the palm tree / coconut tree that I miss! I was back home yesterday from Cabo, Mexico where there are many these type of trees. And I love the song of “ Shine “ at the end of this video too! It gives me the “ Shine” again at my home ! Thank you, Jules! Also thank you for the last couple weeks strength training! I was able to choose different appropriate weight of weights that I have learnt from you at the gym. of the resort.I feel proud because of your training! Thank you so so much😊

    SO MUCH FUN! I am now subscriber! I am not a dancer but this workout allowed me to improvise some extra moves. I love the Twist -- fun and great exercise. RE the Twist, the impressive movers of the 1960s stepped one foot forward, Twisted, and then lifted the front foot for a few moments while Twisting on the back foot, and then stepped down again. With hand actions, it's a blast!
