I liked the slice with a reverse cut. The sword users version of a double tap. :) You make a very subtle point here that even an inexpensive blade can cut if it is sharp enough. While many people state these new "sword machetes" are not real swords or real weapons, I think that they are more practical and realistic. The evolution of technology and the power of the dollar has helped drive this market. People need to stop comparing everything to the past or basing quality and performance on branding and high prices. Many of us desire useful tools, not works of art or symbols of political correctness. Are money has to buy us real performance or at least a little practicality and if they are fun to use and let us fantasize a bit then it's all good.

As of today, the plastic handle model is $12 and the wood handle model is $22. Mine came with the worst wood handle ever but it was fixable. Fun alternative to an expensive sword. Grind was even and consistent and the WorkSharp made it really usable.

Nice review. I liked the music during the bottle slaying scene.

This is one of my favorite Marbles machetes :D

"So your wondering, 'which one should i buy?', all of them dude!" lol, love it man. I love cutlasses, love curved blades, scimitars and sabres, one of my favorite swords/machetes is the condor bush-cutlass, so light and great chopping power. So some day, i want to get these. Great review buddy.

the cut @6:06 is sick - the bottle gets cut in half and the top lands on its cut edge, retaining the water in both halves.

On the Original Swords, The hole is supposed to have a braided Lanyard that has a loop at the end to go around the wrist, so if you let go of the saber you don't lose it, whether you accidentally drop it, it gets knocked out of your hand, or you have to let go to block or use a different weapon like a lance or a pistol

Gotta love the Marbles bud, for the price and durability you would struggle to find better. Iv'e had the tiger striped machete for a few years now to use for brush cutting and lightweight lopping, works well and easy to sharpen. How well does the handle hold up with the short tang in the cutlass?

I like the Cutlass the best, but I don't think Marbles sells these anymore, sadly.

Yeah Imacasa makes all Marbles machetes.
