Dollar Tree Plus are the only ones that carries those and there aren't very many of them. Such a BUMMER!

.50 for each color isn't so bad, especially as little as it takes, they will do several projects, and you get great results! I agree with the previous comment- use black as a backer, the sheen will really pop!

Right it takes little amounts this dummy used huge glob amounts...kinda like she don't know wtf shes doing

I wonder if you could mix a little glow color into a corresponding color changing color? Also, could you carefully put gold rub and buff on just the edges, so when you pop it out, it could look like a gold bezel around the edges? Those are just a couple of ideas that I thought of while watching your video. I’ve never seen a video of yours come in my feed but I’m so glad I ran across you. I didn’t know Dollar Tree carried resin supplies. Thank you for such a helpful video and you have such a pleasant voice. 😊

You can absolutely add glow powder to colored Resin although you want to be careful about how much pigment you add as it could dull the glow. And you can add rub n buff to resin. I did a video of this series on just that lol. Thanks for sharing your ideas and stopping to visit. 😊

I really hope that I can find these in one of my local stores. Plus you did demonstration. Hooray for that. Could you do a review on how they held up over the glow powder over time. Thanks for sharing😘👍👍👍

Wow pretty awesome, I havent seen it at my dollar tree...I have used the eye shadow in my resin it kinda works.. I like the molds

I was wondering about the eyeshadow...$tree has the LA Colors eyeshadow in a bottle that's loose powder...I may have to try those too.

I want to try but didnt want to spend a lot to see if I like it. I'm at DollarTree 4 days a week. I will get my supplies!!!!! thank you 🥰

Their Resin is actually a good thin viscosity Resin as well. Does a great job of releasing bubbles. It takes more time to cure a good full day but worth the money.

I'm definitely going to go check Dollar tree out and get two sets of them old so I can make earrings...☺️

I saw these the other day and was hesitant to pick them up. I know I’ll get the color shift ones now. I do very little resin crafts but $3 seems like it’s a good deal for my purposes. Thanks for the review.

I just found you & so glad i did..i purchased some of these items last week..they also had the silver/gold & copper charms & foils... I did skip buying the glow in the dark thinking it might be a little too much for my taste...but I love it..imma have to go purchase that now..plus they also had the bangle & cuff bracelet mold...(skipped those too)..i cant wait to try these now since seeing how you make it look so easy!

I do think they are worth it. The color shift ones need a black backing to see the real shifts. Test them by setting on black card stock

That one nearly colorless glow in the dark pigment is what you’d use to make the perfect patronus!!

Glow in the dark pigments are very expensive. If someone just wants to try them to see if they like them then $3 is not a bad price. Also in comparison you got 6 glow pots and only 4 of the interference pots.

Have you tried the Dollar tree resin I have a surprisingly it's very good I had no bubbles with it it cured and 6 hours the hard enough that you could remove from the mold I really like it and for a good quality resin for a gallon jug cost u about 50 to 100 and the dollar tree comes out to be cheaper then most

Yes I was surprised. It's good stuff. It is very thin viscosity and takes longer to cure but very few bubbles and a longer working time.

Different powders weigh different amounts and that’s why when u buy powders 5 grams might not look like a lot in one container but might look full in another….. especially the glow powders and thermochromics 😢

I wanted to use resin like a safe one like the stuff that comes in mini verse stuff … was the fumes strong on this .

A resin being less odor does not equal safe. That's very important to understand. You should always read the safety data sheet for any chemical to understand any health risks and how to protect yourself. Just like any spray paint, glue, etc. Having said that the dollar tree resin does have an odor although to me not as bad as some epoxy resin I have tried. I generally mix it, pour it, and then leave the room until it's cured. A good low to no odor epoxy resin is Artist resin by Counter Culture DIY. Great products all around and they have a good UV resin as well. Also important to note that epoxy resin is a two part resin that cures by chemical reaction when you mix two parts together, different from UV Resin like in the miniverse capsules that is a one part resin that cures by UV light. I hope this info helps you on your resin crafting journey.

Eye shadow at dollar tree is also mica.....

So little glow in dark powder because it is meant to be added to enhance your already colored resin not to be your main color/pigment

Could you tell me please where you got the UV light at to dry the resin or cure it

Why not mixed the powders with the resin before adding it to the mold? I heard from another channel that eye shadows work well too.

This was almost 6 months ago. I kind of feel like they will bring the resin products back, at least I hope they do. The made room for the holiday stuff. Their resin products were very popular and flew off the shelves.

Why don't you paint the colors in the same as the glitter?

The glow pigment is kind of a rough pigment powder. If you "paint" it in first it causes the cast to be very rough and not Shiney. It's better to mix it into the resin.

I would be helpful if we knew what this flower is supposed to look like. I don't know if you could find an image and show it to your audience. 🤔 I think it looks beautiful 😍 But I have no idea what your look for.

Dollar Tree, but both are owned by the same company and I haven't been to a family dollar

Dollar tree is not what it used to be! New dollar opened Snow Hill NC. very few items were a dollar! Most of things were $10,00 up!
