Thank you so much for doing this video. I have had relaxed hair since l was 3 and keep in mind that l am 14. I always see hair tutorials for natural black hair and never see videos for relaxed hair. I sometimes get insecure about my hair because all the girls around me have natural hair and they say theirs is natural and rich and this makes me feel like my hair is fake and damaged and is not real African hair. Thanks for putting this video out because it has shown me that my hair matters to and is African hair no matter what texture.

Great hairstyles😁!!! I did the side braid low bun style but I substituted the cornrows braid with a French tail braid (I can French tail braid better then the regular braiding). I am doin the protective style challenge and will periodically change up to do these hairstyles to help my hair grow. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

So I don't think I've ever left a comment on KZread in over 15 years of being on here lol...but you inspired me to leave some love on your video :) I've been struggling with my hair for the past 4 or 5 years now. I moved to a dry, dusty climate after living in the humidity for my entire life, so needless to say my hair is a mess! I had to go back to relaxing it because otherwise I couldn't even get it in a ponytail. I'm actually about to relax it again and I'm definitely going to try some of these hairstyles! I always resort to a bun or a bun with a braid on the side...that's my "fun" look lol. So yes I needed help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this video. It may look simple to others on here but for someone who doesn't know what to do with their "new" hair texture, it is a godsend. Thank you again and keep it up! You are a beautiful young lady with beautiful hair. Oh, and I like the music too...even if he is being scandalous! Ha ha!
