I have two kids and this is how I arrange I never bring in catalogues of toys I sit down and break it up What I want: Anything the kid has asked for, for months !! What do I need: Something for there room, pretty much anything Something I want that sparks imagination or creativity: playdoh, legos, building blocks. Something I can wear/be comfy: this could be a new blanket, new slippers, new outfit or pajamas, a new jacket. If people do this What do you want from santa (1 gift they really want)

Also a Tonie box has been my little girl's favourite possession for the last year and we are going to get her 2year old brother one for Christmas this year 🥰 we were thinking of getting my girl a tablet but she wants a trampoline which I am so happy about because I'd much rather she was outdoors and doing something active 🥰

Only one present needed. Gift of giving. After the past 18 months we are preparing food packages to give to the local food bank and donating toys to the charity store. Not buying anything to replace them. Try it, it really frees up the house and makes you all feel like you're contributing to a bigger cause than commercial consumerism.

I think children have give their all during this covid they have been forced to give up so much miss out on so much and cope with so much, i think this year more than previous years they deserve extra love support and gifts. We have envelopes full of tickets and passes for all the places they couldn't go, we have parties booked in for the coming year to make up for the many occasions they couldn't share with friends and family.

I'm blown away with all the great ideas you gave us. I bought my grandson Kinetic sand for xmas and seeing it on your list confirmed to me that I made a good choice. I'm gonna look for the fidget calendar. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this. I needed this. I buy so much toys throughout the year and lose track what is good anymore. Quiet a few we don’t have and I think the kids will love.

This has to be the best gift guide of all time! applies to both boys and girls of many different ages. We have so many of these and they have definitely stood the test of time. Best of all the price point of these are very affordable! I also love the fact that some of these are educational and some are also sensory based. This year for my girls Santa is replacing their beloved trampoline which is probably the most used item we own. We decided on a Vuly Thunderpro this year fingers crossed the price is a reflection of the quality and it lasts longer than the last one!

I agree with all of these. We have 2 boys and a baby girl and have nearly every item on this list (I don't do Slime!😝). The boys have had years of joy from that Ice cream cart alone. Way more than I would have expected. At 6 & 8 they still play with all of these items. Great list!

I have bought my little boy a speed track - a plastic track that you can stick to a window ect and race cars down it - really simple concept but know he will love it as his favourite thing is racing cars - thank you for the great ideas x

I've bought the 7yos a tefal cake factory oven this will be great for so many reasons in our house, trying new foods measurements, planning, hand eye coordination, reading, sensory feedback and of course enjoying yumi treats with friends.

I have to vouch for the magnetic blocks. My 4yr old plays with them every single day and we had to buy another set wasn't enough. She can build great houses with it

Highly recommend the ice cream cart. Bought it for my son last year who was 2. Loves playing with it nearly everyday. I found it on Amazon one day for only £25! Highly recommend making an Amazon wish list and watch the prices change (sometimes daily!)

All these presents are great, we've lived them. I would definitely recommend putting the gifts in cardboard boxes because kids all love making so many things out of them and they get extra toys. Then Kiki can play with them too. Xx

His godmother bought our son the plagmags last year (he was 18 months at the time) abs they are still a huge hit in our house I’ll think we will be using them for a while. I’ve now purchased them for my nephew for Christmas knowing how well used they’ve been x

Thanks for this! I’ve a 4 year old girl and she’s asked for the barbie dream camper and a 2 year old boy who’s been enjoying playing with his cousins playmags so has asked for some of those. He’s also getting some duplo as he loves building. They have both also loved the ice cream cart, a wooden kitchen and toy food and always play doh. I’ll definitely check out some of the other bits in here, it’s just what I need now I’ve started my shopping!!! X

Im so glad you included the barbie campervan! I have bought one each for my twin girls this christmas and I thought and thought about purchasing them because they are quite pricey but there were so many amazing reviews of them and all my girls play with are barbies so I know they will love it. I rave about play mags too! all my kids love them

My boys absolutely love the brio trains. We've had them since my eldest was 3 and now at age 9 and 7, they both still love them.

Magnatiles are such a brilliant gift, a bit pricier than the ‘copy’ versions but worth it as they are such good quality they really stand the test of time!

My mom gave my daughter some that she had for my brother when he was in preschool. 10 years ago and they still look brand new!

I would have to say I agree with most of these as a mama of a three year old. My son has a lot of these and loves them most. I do lovevery subscription and some other Montessori inspired toys too but these are definitely winner toy ideas in my opinion.

Great ideas! Lego is fantastic and they make 16+ and 18+ kits, my son is 19 and still loves lego for Christmas!

Great guide. We have many of these or similar. I like the idea of magnetic tiles. Lego and playmobil are great gifts that cover a wide range of ages and last forever. Magazine subscription for National Geographic Kids went down well last year so renewing and experience vouchers. My son has so many toys so trying to get different things this year.
