If that's the worst experience of your life, you are doing pretty well.

The law actually says you are supposed to get a full refund if you are delayed by 3 hours domestic or 6 hours international. So I am unsure how you didn't get more

My flight got delayed on American airlines, I got confused and sat by the wrong terminal so I completely missed my flight and when I went to the help desk and told them what was up they put me up at a hotel for the night, gave me a 12 dollar voucher for breakfast, and booked me the next morning. (I had the last flight the previous night so that's why the next day booking). This was also only my second flight ever so I have no idea if that was a good experience or bad, or if that's normal or not. I honestly thought that if you miss your flight regardless of the reason then that's on you and the money is just gone forever, so I didn't feel to bad about it. I hear a lot of people's stories though and they're mind blowing how bad they've been treated

I almost missed my first solo flight, asked what turned out to be a pilot for help. Read my ticket explained my mistake and jogged with me for 10 minutes his opposite way. Idk what airline he worked for but he saved my ass.

United stuck us in Mexico.5am flight to mnpls-ended up in Houston at 9pm. Flew home the next day-got 50 dollar vouncher to be used within 1 year- for 48 hour delay. Never used it. Try to avoid United at all costs since.

My wife and I lost a baby. Your flight delay is on par, for sure.

Sounds like Delta. I flew alone with a 4mo and a 2yo while moving across country and they acted like it was my fault that my kids weren't silent. This was after getting peed on twice...
