I live amongst a large population of filipino people. They are so kind and Loving. 55 and older community of caring loving people. I’m learning words and my friends are surprised when I speak the language. No matter what race, be kind truthfully and loving. @@RS-do6tvRealistically you could just say "nice to meet you po" add that "po" for formality. But it's better to learn "ikinagagalak kitang makilala" because some of us don't really understand English that well 😃

@sanankhan2960 Its not 1 word, it's an abbreviation. An abbreviation is when you take the first letter of every word in a group of words to form a an abbreviation. For example, LOL stands for Laughing Out Loud, or OMG stands for Oh My God.

Lalaki can also mean guy or male person... She should have said a bad guy or man instead of boy 😊😅

lalaki means male and batang lalaki means male child. we don't have a specific word for boy, man, girl, woman.

Because you can also say it like "mawalang galang laang" that's why they put an apostrophe.

I was told that phrase number 5 (nice to meet you) not very common is and it's better just to say it in English...
