There are many hidden secrets outside the maps of Black Ops 3 Zombies so this is really just a short list of them. These beautifully constructed maps changed zombies forever with a stark contrast from its predecessor BO2. It was a ton of fun putting this video together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Fun fact: back in around about 2014/2015 treyarch did a thing where you could be a zombie in game. The guy who won it asked if he could do something else. He got to have 2 things in zombies. The first was that he got a name on a street plate thing in gorod krovi. The second thing was that he got to be in the intro for shadows of evil. Can you guess who he played? He got to play the guy on the bed in Jessica Rose’s section… Also the place where we see the 5 perks might be for when they no longer have cobwebs on them and the quick revive and double tap merged thing might be for when they fall down as there are four randomised perk spots with 2 already spawned in(stamin-up and speed cola seen in this video) and 2 that fall from the sky(quick revive and double tap seen in this video) And the blue orb may be the skull of nansapwe as it shines blue in its pedestal

Issue with the guess about the 5 perks being for when they're webbed is that in the video the Juggernog machine in the playable area also isn't webbed, so logically shouldn't the hidden disabled model be the webbed one then and not a duplicate of clean version? Same goes for the two plane perks, they normally drop in without webs so shouldn't the two in the lineup be web-covered while the two merged into each other aren't?

@ClonedGamer001 Pretty sure those are the models from the plane. Then the model for when they are actually usable. And for the other perks like jug my assumption is with the webs. Base model then webs. I'm not entirely sure but I think jug is included because all perks can be webbed.

@@2BsYummySoles The two that are clipped into each other are for sure the plane ones. That way when the plane spawns it can move the model of whatever perk is needed from the same coordinates to wherever it needs to go. The other two perks that spawn in random locations probably also start there but get moved before gameplay starts. If the lineup ones were for that, there'd need to be a needlessly complicated system where whenever the game want to bring a perk into the playable area it would need to pull a custom set of coordinates for the starting location. The ones in the lineup are definitely for individual model swaps, presumably with their corresponding perk machines in the playable area. The issue is that the models underground are identical to the ones above, so what possible reason could there be for that? It's not a "disabled" version, since the game already has a way to disable perks for when the power is off or whatever and that doesn't involve a model swap (and it isn't to avoid the "Turn on the power" prompt either, since the "Hold X to cut webs" prompt would take priority on account of being an intractable and not just a pop-up). And they obviously aren't the webbed models. My best guess is that the original version of ZnS had mossy, decrepit versions of the perk machines like on Shi no Numa (given the numerous other aesthetic bits from SnN that returned), but they wanted the ones that fall from planes to still be clean since they, y'know, hadn't been sitting in a swamp, but the feature was cut and the dirty models never got made so now there's just an identical set of perk machines under the map.
Fun fact, 5:35 is actually called Umbra_tomes. In Radiant (Bo3 Mod Tools) it's a method of loading and unloading certain areas of the map out of sight for performance. It works for only the person who hits the trigger and doesn't affect everyone else in game. It's not usually used much in Custom Zombies but it's especially helpful for large scale maps like Leviathan etc
10:21 there's a repeat of speed cola and staminup because the ones that are already loaded in have spider webs surrounding them whereas the ones under the map don't. It's just a texture swap thing.
I believe the repeated double tap and quick revive machines in zetsubou are there for when they drop into the map. It's been a while since I've played it, but I'm pretty sure they get air-dropped to their locations. Maybe those are the models for when the machines are falling, and then are immediately replaced with the working versions when they land.
As a little correction at the Zetsubo boss fight thing, you actually can complete it when you noclip down there. Just need the KT-4. I did it myself a few hours ago lol.

I'm pretty sure the reason in the SOE pack a punch ritual, it doesn't work if you haven't picked up the summoning key - even if you have placed the gateworms. That might not be right, I just noticed you didn't collect it and thought it might be a reason
the "trap switch" on Gorod Krovi is a switch for an egg along the course of the map , hidden away from view, but essentially has the coding specifically needed for a trigger somewhere ... the quintessential "Dev trick or secret" !

Thanks for making these videos. They're super useful to me since I'm making my own zombies inspired game in ue5
10:40 I got the idea that they'd left it in for speed runners. The machines being there makes it so you can buy the perk immediately before it spawns in.
10:45 I believe those two perks were specifically there to drop from the plane and the reason the other ones were loaded were for whenever you remove the webs

fun fact: you actually can complete the zetsubou easter egg by no clipping to the boss fight arena, shoot all 4 spores of the boss with an upgraded KT-4 and then the cutscene will play, no need for the rest of the steps😂😂
im guessing the perks under zets are to place them into the map after what causes them to spawn(for double tap and revive im guessing a model is used for them to drop, and one for in the map)

On the black ops 3 Shang-ra-la if you no clip to the bottom of the map you can see your player doing a swimming animation. I think it’s left over from when they wanted to add water mechanics to bo1 zombies on Shang
"there's some serious culling going on, im not sure if thats because the consoles couldn't handle the whole map. but definately the 360 and ps3 couldn't" but this isnt the version of the game that was released on the older generation consoles THAT version really was low poly and got basically zero patches in its life so, if you want to experience : zombies 'sticking' to the player like world at war , zombies causing the player to stop sprinting , 1 gate worm per player at a time ( great for trolling , grab a gate worm and dont put it into the font in the ritual room downstairs! ) , , yea launch Shadows of Evil was rough !
How did you get no clip enabled? I've always wanted to explore the maps but /ufo or /noclip never works. Also does it work on custom maps?
Shadows u needed summoning key for boss fight and zets u needed kt4
you can do the rituall because you just didnt grab the summonig key
So tired of people wanting the whole "I'm the one that found this then posted it online make sure I get credit crap" people still haven't said anything like "first who actually posted it but not the first who found it" sadly in this world it's all about proof why people steal or lie and say "got proof"

Check out the description for the mod menu I used! You can either use the menu or use a console enabler along with the command “developer 2” before starting a game.
