Can you use this process with a iron-on layered t-shirt?

Great hacks! I use an empty Lysol disinfectant sheet container to get my vinyl off my weeding tool. Same principle. I just toss it when its full. I also use 143 vinyl. Their vinyl is SO much better then Cricut and cheaper! And, for your "star" trial cuts...don't use your Transfer tape for something that small. I use scotch tape for the small items. It works great! To clean my blade after I cut, but before I put my machine away, I use a pre-packaged alcohol swab on the blade to get off residue. It drys quickly. The wipes are also great to remove residue on smaller items, like ornaments, before I adhere my vinyl. No bottles to worry about knocking over.

New to Cricut and I do believe you have changed my life! You've shown me so much and how to use design space.

I wish I would've seen this sooner I bought mines from Dollar tree for 1.25 but I use mines as a shammy holder for stamp cleaning

I like the pen hack. I use the Paper Mate Ink Joy pens all of the time at work. I'm a nurse, so needless to say, I do a lot of writing. Ink Joy is my favorite pen. I have to watch that people don't "forget" to give my pen back to me when they power it. Now I have a new reason to use the Ink Joy pens but this time they will be color. Thank you!

Nice collection of tips and even some in there I had not yet learned! First of all, I can’t believe how inexpensive 143 vinyl is, even without discounts. I think the font finder is my favorite one in this bunch. What a super web tool!!! Also, your reverse weeding is also very helpful. Thank you, as always, for your dedication your crafting and for showing newbies like me how things roll in the vinyl world. The way you share information is so easily digestible and removes a lot of the fear and anxiety we sometimes get when playing with our craft toys. Your corner of KZread is amazing. Keep on keeping on!

Great video...the one that made the biggest difference was putting parchment paper to align the vinyl. It saved many projects!

My favorite was learning about the lining up other pens, but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was learning that the pen clamp opens all the way, I had no clue! lol

I love the font site to see what you already have available in your computer and the ability to type in what you are printing!

I hang my cutting mats on a nail on the wall next to my machine and when I remove my protective covers I put them back on the nail and when I wanna put them back on I put my mat back on the nail Sticky side facing the protective cover and it goes on perfect every time

I cannot say thank you enough for your resources and tutorials and being so informative without talking to us like we’re 3 years old Please please keep doing what you do best!!!! Would love to see some faux leather crafts and iron on HTV to unique materials like beanie hats, perhaps shoes!?

I have two favorites that are tied - the toddler tub for weeding and the pen hack at the end! Never seen it shown like this but does look so much easier! Thank you, MCP!!!

The hack I use the most would have to be the parchment paper hack! I just love how easy that makes it to line everything up. I would say my favorite hack is the pen hack. I've never used any pens other than cricut brand. I can't wait to try that one!

Regarding sharpening your blade. Look for one of those soldering iron tip cleaning pots. It's like wire wool but much thicker. Perfect for this.

Those are some really great hacks! Not all of them apply to me because I have the Joy, but I did find some that I can use. My favorites are the reverse weeding and transfer vinyl hacks. I think those will really help me out. Thanks!
