From a regular row boat to a super-charged jet ski, people will find a way to enjoy playing on the water, but there are always just a few people who take things just a bit too far. Electric vehicles reduce CO2 emissions to zero while being used, but require more than 100% of CO2 emissions (up to 50% more) for the electricity necessary to recharges the batteries. And then there all of the open pit mines that have to be dug to get the materials to make electric vehicles possible, plus all the CO2 emissions to smelt and/or process those raw materials into useful materials.
