AppBar was a blast to find! Just wish you could make icons go above 100% to preferably 130% for us who love big icons but it's a really great app.

@@hadiadil6693 Yeah I know, but I don't like using Nova ad most do, I like the animation intergration of stock pixel launcher on a Pixel phone. It's really really butter smooth but the tiny icons are a turn off. I'm not rooted (locked bootloader) so I can't tweak it with magisks mods. These days I now use "Smart Launcher" it really meets all my demands except the really cool pixel animations, it's okay for now.

Sometimes I think about switching from Samsung (I've had a variety of phones historically), but like you pointed out they already include/build a ton of functionality into their android builds, so why would I want more apps to do what they can do already?

@@SpongeBob.Ripped Well I tend to disagree. While One UI offers a lot of functionality it also adds a lot of clutter to your phone. Thats why I prefer the smooth and light feel that comes with stock Android

Nova on my Galaxy s23+ doesn't feel that fluid when going from an app to home or opening apps, it does flash for a milisecond and looks awful, is it because of the phone? or am I doing something wrong on Nova itself?

I don't think we are going to play the same as we did in the just ended season. There's going to be an evolution in tac or just somewhere. Mikel and his team is always cooking and looking to evolve and create new and good solutions to succeed on top of the previous tacs. And we just have to wait and see and hope for success which will come 100 percent.

I don't want to be too much of an annoyance, so I'll try to keep this short. Do you know how to (or if it's possible) disable the search bar and "at a glance" widget from the stock Google home screen? I can disable most of the "at a glance" widget, but I've had no luck removing the search bar.

Actually samsung has the function to change flashlight intensity

SMS and chat backup already works fantastically with google whole system backup. You don't need a 3rd party tool for that. It even back ups your contacts and apps and a lot more things. You should use it, its native android feature so it works with every phone

Not after a phone has already been setup. It only works when setting up a brand new device.

@@sambeckman I'm not trying to argue here, but just a few weeks ago I took my phone (samsung) out of my pocket and discovered that at some point, before my screen timed out and locked, my phone and my pocket worked together to delete entire SMS conversations with 3 people and I was a bit unhappy with that so I went into my settings, accounts and backup, backup and restore and because I sync my backup to both my google and my Samsung accounts, under my Samsung account backup I was able to restore my SMS messages to the last synced backup which restored all the missing conversations. Luckily, I caught it before it synced after they got deleted. But this definitely isn't a new device. Of course that's only helpful on Samsung devices. Speaking of backups, do you know if there's a way to export Firefox bookmarks? I'd like to import them to Brave but I think I'm SOL...

@letriss.99 Yep main reason on average for policy violations. Apps can make a system vulnerable (make sure your installs are official and not some malware disguised as the thing you're going for)
