As someone we all know once famously said “ if ya floating your boating” and this is exactly that, I had a boat very similar to this a few years back and had two very enjoyable seasons with the family on her. Just proves you don’t have to have a mega yacht to have fun. Nice to see this sort of thing on your channel as well Nick 👍

And that's part of what makes Nick's videos work so well! He can really show us everything. Some other folks use a separate videographer and presenter, and inevitably, at some points there's not enough room for the videographer to show us what the presenter is talking about.

I'm Always looking into affordable boats here in Spain but I always struggle to "see" the boats through the images posted on the websites. In comparison, your videos make it very easy! Thank you Nick!

That’s a boat you can take to Catalina island. All it needs is a bait tank. I would love to see more videos on small cabin cruisers like these. Thanks for the video.

This would make a great project boat to run alongside working on it to renovate and improve - modernise the interior, engine bay, instrumentation etc in stages and by the end of it, you’d have a beautiful, personalised boat! Thanks for the tour Nick - a nice contrast to boats 20x the price.

Looks like a lovely and very affordable way to have a great weekend away! I'd probably want to bank an extra few thousand to overhaul the engine and tidy up the interior over the first couple of years, but a lovely, easy to manage little boat!

You are on a roll with the memory lane this month The 24, 28 and 33 Martinique and their counter parts the costal were some of the most popular boats in my neck of the woods, i was more of a fan of the costal line but my dad had a few friends with martinique's, he actually even looked on buying one but he found one hell of a deal for a 4 year old phoenix 34 with less than 300 hours at the time, 20 years later and he still has it so i guess it was a good buy hahaha

❤❤❤This is one of my favorite (very short) reviews that you've done, Nick! It's actually right in my affordable price range and even able for overnight/weekend travel(without land-based accommodations)! Living in sw MI, I'm blessed with easy access to the Great Lakes and don't need thousands of miles for cruising range. The Great Lakes are great! but not all that long. You actually (for once) missed guessing/estimating the overall travel distance at cruising speeds...

What a great little find. Certainly a viable option for those who don’t have that much spare change. Shows that if you look carefully you can find something to suit most budgets as long as your sensible about what you can afford and what that will get you.

Nicely designed for an entry level boat. Love the window beneath the seat in the cockpit that gives light into the sleeping area.

This is as simple as it gets, and this is also what people could afford to enjoy boating. Great review!

Salterns are a lovely family run yacht brokers that specialise in botnia targa boats among others if I'm not mistaken. so buying or viewing boats through these people would be a great place to start if you needed assistance to your first venture into boating, or as an upgrade to your next boat! Great tour as usual nick it's always nice to see the smaller range of affordable boats, as we are not all multimillionaire's who can afford the larger super yachts!

We started our boating journey on a Searay 240, which is very similar. Great introduction to boating!

This boat is fantastic, separate head and bedroom. Such a lot of boat for the money, it's ripe for an interior fabric update and it'll look almost new.

Happy to see affordable (to the masses) boats. While I love imaging retiring with a 77ft Princess, this is more realistic, yet excting

Ha! At last a boat that most people will be faced with when thinking about buying something to have fun with on the water.....a bit cramped in places, mouldy, and in need of some TLC. A lovely little weekender though! Perfect for days out...anchor for a night then back home....actually did it even have an anchor? I'd enjoy this boat, if only for a day's diving, with somewhere to sit and have lunch if the weather turns bad. Nick you have the best job! Well done for filling the niche and making such enjoyable videos. When I see a new video by Aquaholic I can't help but say "Yes!" You have become my daily treat.

Yes! Love these types of boats interspersed with the mega yachts and all those in between. Please keep an eye out for what I call "retirement yachts". 60-80 foot yachts from the 80's and 90's. $150K-$250K. There's never a bunch out there but there's always some available. Yachts that very wealthy people had decades ago that mere mortals can have today.

I like these small, affordable boats every now and then. I always watch those ones and think that I should have went that route 30 years ago and bought a small boat with a wet head and small galley and been my first live aboard. Easy to do for a guy in his early 20's who wouldn't blink at living in what would be considered cramped quarters today. Lol

Storage becomes the biggest problem with living aboard something this small. It's not "I want that", it's "Where will I put it?" I lived on a 42' Matthews for a year with one other person and storage was really limited with weekly trips to the storage unit necessary.

It was my dream to buy a boat like this when I was in my 20's. I never had the $$$. Now I am 61, I have the $$$ but my knees are buggered. Life is a bitch sometimes.

I bought this boat.. she’s looking a little different now! I’ve renewed the canopy, new stern drive was required as the skeg was missing, smartened up the dash, new audio and gps, refit the interior and given her a clean and some outside decals. Drop me a line and I’ll send you some photo’s if you like👍 she is a good boat but was definitely a project. Great video though mate. Can’t believe I put Wellcraft Martinique 2400 into KZread and my own boat came up!!

As you were showing the outside from the dock view,I was thinking that all you really need for a great full day on the water is a 'heads'.When you showed it also had a Hob and the seating area I was thinking it would be great for a weekend fishing trip,as it has the mount for a 'trolling engine' already too.When you said it had Another sleeping area I was floored.To borrow your term,"That's a proper little ship".I'm guessing it sold this afternoon.

Used Wellcraft , still looking actual . Maybe can be use as trasport delivery , remove all seats and load the boxes . Price is really clear.

with a little bit of TLC and some minor updates (interior seating covers, dashboard wood, etc) this can go for another 10 years easy. It still looks quite modern. Absolutely great buy, this one.

The upholstery in the cabin is like alien guts!

More like that nick what a smart boat.

Great boat for getting out and playing. Tow a skier or water toys. Got an engine mount on the back for a trolling motor for the fisherman. Just a great all-around do it all boat. Cheers

I have the exact Mercruiser 5.7L engine in my 2002 Maxum boat. Like you said, very easy to work on. Mine has been very reliable and performs well. Looks like a nice boat. Thanks for the tour.

I really liked see this one. Because it is a low price boat and because I almost bought one of those in 2002, The 2002 was slightly different but the salesman's personal boat was just like this one. He took the rear seat out and installed a bench and scuba tank rack. That made it into a fantastic live-abord dive boat.

I really liked this review Nick. Ok it's not the most modern but it does the same job as £2 million luxury yacht. And it also looks to have a decent engine in it also. It would an ideal weekend boat as well and still bring lots of fun.

*Here in Southern California I can Buy a 1/3 ownership in a 2022 Absolute 62 for $795,000* *Now that's something that's worth considering.*

The main problem would actually be with the cost of fuel. If you buy a boat at this orice range, you probably have a limit on how much you can spend in a given season. And with the fuel prices that can be a bit hard to manage for some.
