My name is Anneke and I am 44, I will be 45 in August. And I was born with Spina Bifida. I walked until I was 10 and then had to have rods put in my back for scoliosis, lordosis and kyfosis. But I lead a very normal life. I work two part time jobs, I am happily married and I am on a bowling league. And am involved in my community. Seeing Roman, I believe he will lead an amazing life. I love following him and his family online.

It makes me so happy to see how good the interviewer was to him. Obviously, he's not going to be mean, but getting into the tent to play with him and mimicking Donald Duck was awesome. It seemed like Roman really enjoyed playing with the interviewer.

63 not hydro what ever but spina bifta stage 4 n my bump is in the exact same area. I walk, rode horses, drove 19 wheel rigs for a living, did 10 yrs taking care of children with physical disabilities cause when I was young No One Would Give My Parents a Break. I pray for your child n u guys as a family unit. I still walk just alot slower n with a walker. I have burnt my legs so bad n not even known they were being burnt, thank the good lord my husband smelled the skin burning. Be diligent with love n give yourselves a break every once in awhile. Love ❤️

I’m 72 years old born with spina bifida operated on at the age of three months at Boston Children’s Hospital. I have no leg braces and I am not in a wheelchair and I have been very grateful extremely grateful. I do suffer from anxiety and depression that’s a lifelong thing and it’s getting worked on, very slow progress but at least I haven’t given up, yet.😊

2 years old! He’s so smart wow.

It is amazing how much Rowan has conquered and achieved. Also, Jeff Glor is such a terrific human being. Playing with Rowan and doing the Donald Duck impression. I also noticed how comfortable Rowan felt with him, leaning on his leg while talking about the Disney characters. The Dad in Jeff definitely came out and it is beautiful to see.
