@@alexandrahill9280 Is it someone you knew for awhile or a new person? I would say talk to them first and come to a agreement. For me the guy constantly did it over months and when I pointed it out, he said " Its a combat sport" no shit genius. Its not about being hit, its about not being toxic and try to injure people during training. If the person keeps doing that aftertalking to them, leave the gym, change partners or give him/her some warning shots
This is so awesome to see and shows why recording training can be rewarding for both confidence and learning!

Thank you man! With it being so easy to record now why not right! Especially someone's first kick because they'll surprise themselves looking back in just a few months of training! Thank you for commenting!

0:03 Aaah the signature wrong turn of the head when kicking. The amount of times I had to teach people. The joy in their faces when they realised their kicks were far more powerfull this way! Awesome progress!

That's cool! I too started the martial arts journey about a year ago. Made some awesome leaps in skills just in that short time, but then tore my bicep during sparring one day 😞 . Hope to get back into soon, so thanks for the inspiration! 🙂

This is what I tell everybody who comes on to train for the firsts time you can’t cheat to the top you gotta be in an day out over the years you’ll see how much you’ve improved when you start showing the new people techniques
Cool to see! I've been training for 11 years. Ive seen this same process so many times! From it looking/feeling awkward to becoming flowing/second nature. You get so in tune with your body through combat sports its amazing!

Yeeeessss. Now this is the type of stuff i live to see. I'm beyond impressed by this man and his dedication, and I'm sure you are proud.
I remember hearing once it takes about 6-9 months martial arts training to be able to beat up most ‘thugs’ on the street. And about 2 years to be ‘good enough’ to enter the ring. I’m 7 years in now and can agree with that

Great stuff man. I can’t count how many times I felt like quitting when I first started training and sparring with older guys above my skill level when I was a kid. Just showing up every day and training with better guys goes a long way for anybody
Such a great work you've made on your journey. I myself gave up right at the start, I ain't fit enough to even manage my first classes. lol
I’m 6 months in and can feel a slight change watching this makes me feel like it won’t be long to I’m where you are big up !!

I am training muay thai for nearly 2 years. My sparring improved, technique and power. However my hips are still tight and that makes me less flexible and it's harder to balance. Still saw a lot of improvement but it's an up and down journey😅
