A great explanation there my lovely... Personally though... I prefer to use an Aux send post fade, with only the channels (at 0 dB) , that I want to send to the subs... going to that Sub Aux. I'm only saying this because more and more frequently now, when walking up to a desk somebody has got a Left/Right and a Sub matrix thing going on... and they seem to always have the Sub Source as a copy of the Masters... Which really, really annoys me... I mean who on Earth wants all the waffle from everything i.e.; the top kit, Horn Sections, Choirs, effects and the main Vocal mic bleeding into the Sub Speakers. I haven't scientifically analysed it, and it could just be from an expected psychoacoustic thing... but I do think the Aux method just sounds more "how I want it to sound", as in more musically pleasing. That said... I like your presentation style... Oh, and, drink your Tea before it gets cold 💋🚀
Nice stuff, very helpful! Subscribed

Excellent description to help someone understand the concept. Have you worked with a Soundcraft UI24R yet? I didn't see that one listed in the link.

Thanks! I've used it a bunch but I'm unlikely to make any videos or content about it. Was there anything you were wondering about? I can answer it or point you in the right direction.
thank you .. waiting for more content .....need infos in lacoustics network manager..

Noted. I'm not deploying systems so often just now but next time I'm around some L'acoustics I'll film something
I really love your tutorials. Would you please replicate this MATRIX video for M7CL 48 digital mixer? Much appreciated.

Thanks a bunch. I'm afraid I've never even seen an M7CL, I think they're just not so popular where I am. If I come across one I'll make a video.
Can this same set up work on Yamaha TF3?

Yeah it should work basically the same. Tf series also has a dedicated sub bus that you can use.
Great video. Does this work when you have a sub channel

Thanks. I'm not sure what you mean? I show it with a SUB and Mains setup in the video. Or did you mean something else?
