I like glossy accents over distress oxides, it lifts the colour into the gloss. Beautiful effect.

Your card is a different version of the blackout technique using cardstock instead on inks, less messy. God bless you for paper piecing all of those little pieces and making foam to fit the small places. It was well worth it and these are lovely cards. Thank you so much.

Love the balloon cards. My mom’s game when we were growing up was scrabble and she always tromped us until we got into our late teens. My grandpa’s game was cribbage. When I hear someone saying 15 2 15 4 and a pair makes 6 I think of him. In that game if you miss counting any of your points your opponent could take them. We were always missing our points and he won. Sometimes he absolutely skunked us. Those were good days. My dad’s side of the family were big pinochle players. I do ok at that game but you need to be a strategist and I am not that. Plus my face would give me away when I had a great hand. Thanks for the video and letting us know about the virtual retreat.

Love the balloon die and I love how you used it against black card stock. I'm not sure about the glitter card stock. In the video the balloon glitter card stock looks dull, but in the still photos it looks nice and bright with good color variation.

It is both honestly lol. In the light it's more sparkly and vibrant especially under the Glossy accents. Areas not in the light tend to be more subtle and muted.

You can use cling film (cling wrap ) on the back of your card panel to keep all of the pieces and parts in place, it won’t cut through the cling film but works a charm. Especially helpful if there are lots of tiny pieces.
