I was always confused why there are three lines in Refrigerator Compressor? Now its clear, two of them are Suction lines and one is Discharge line. You made this VDO for another reason but i learned my lesson. Peace be with you, Thank You for making this VDO.

chandrashekhar wankhade no that’s not right . One pipe sucks The other pipe blows and the third pipe never gets used only in the factory to fill the thing with refrigerant gas then they blank the end off Hope that helps 👍🏼

Here's a tip for you. Leave the syringe plunger in the syringe. Depress the syringe plunger until it is fully seated in the syringe. Submerge the tip of the syringe in the new compressor oil and pull the plunger up the syringe tube. Compressor oil will be sucked into the syringe as the plunger moves up the syringe tube. Once you have the oil in the syringe, you can inject it into the compressor. Repeat this process until you are no longer able to suck compressor oil into the syringe. Remove the syringe plunger and pour the small amount of remaining fresh compressor oil into the syringe, place the syringe tip into the compressor suction line and then insert the syringe plunger to inject the final amount of compressor oil into the compressor...

Thanks for your video. A few questions please. (1) With a refrigeration compressor with 1 pressure tube and 1 inlet tube (and NO manufacturing installed crimped Freon fill tube) I’m having trouble draining/filling oil (while tilting compressor towards the inlet tube) due to "either", various bends in the inlet tube, OR due to no air escape route while draining. Any suggestions how to drain/fill with only 1 inlet tube (2) If there are no answers to (1) above, I assume a last resort might be to drill a hole in the compressor and Braze a fitting into the hole (that can be capped or plugged for drain/fill). Can this be done with a Bernzomatic TS8000 torch using Mapp gas? Issues are not knowing what's on the other side of where you're drilling; getting chips into the compressor while drilling; heat having some bad affect inside the compressor while BRAZING. Thanks.

1. u can cut the edge of tube which is crimped if air goes inside then only u can take out oil from compressor or u can de breeze the that pipe also. 2. u should not drill the compressor drilled metal peaces may enter in compressor

Can we replace or use transformer oil for motor compressor

no need to change the oil if a compressor runs for 30 years also. compressor oil should change when there a repair in compressor or waterlogged in.

@@SomaElectricals Yeah buddy, and I turned mine into a Vacuum-Pump, to vacuum-pot electrical coils and trafos, etc. You'd be surprised how powerfull it is with only a 6.64CC displacement-volume!!! BTW, FREON is not used in compressors anymore for over 30 years now, was replaced by the R-134a, or like in mine, R600a (Cyclobutane) variant.

Second method is incorrect. Only gas can enter suction line. Any liquid ,such as oil or liquid refrigerant , added to suction line ,while compressor is running, will damage compressor pistons immediately. That last sound compressor made was actually the end of life of your compressor. :) First method is correct though.

@TorrNet oil is an incompressible fluid, so if the Piston tries to compress the oil coming in through the inlet, all that will happen is the oil will be compressed until the pressure causes something to give way (aka break) for the oil to escape the pressurizing cylinder.

TorrNet . The different is: "Running compressor" and "NOT Running compressor". Never add any liquid(oil or refrigerant ) in Running compressor. Turn compressor off before.

TorrNet. To make vacuum pump, you need oil that have words "Vacuum Pump oil". Just search internet or go to Automobile Parts store.

@@AG-wn8tc and allow the oil to settle out of the chamber before starting, is part of why you need to wait 12-24 hours to start a fridge/AC unit if it gets tilted on its side before use.

If the high pressure line were sealed it might kill it, but with the line open it just acts as a one way valve. No breakage occurred.

Easy.after draining just suck it back in via suction pipe.to get moisture out let it run with suction pipes for a while.

Looked like French fry oil🤔 Compressor ran a on the warm side. Like to get my hands on a can of Exclusive for India WD-40 probably works better than USA versions. Thanks and take care.

2 wire say aap compressor check kar saktey ho. aap OLP and ptc laga kar hee compressor ON karna. agar aap 2 wire laga kar chaley gaye. aur bijali gayi aur fir aayi tho compressor jal jayega

Fix the oil sucktion inlet to opposite 2nd air intake pipe. Then sucked oil will not come from discharge tube while in ON condition..👍

Compressor main oil kabhi kharab nahi hota 30 saal tak bhi fresh rahtha hai. Agar compressor pani chalgaya ho ya kisi karan oil gir gaya tab oil change karna hai.

Have a leak in condenser line and lost oil out of compressor. Is there a way just to add some oil through the tube without having to disconnect the compressor? Could I run a wire down the tube and into the compressor to see the depth of oil like a oil dipstick? This is on a Tecumseh Compressor

U can fill the oil from charging line with help of injection. Fill 10ML. We can't check oil with dip stick. Like automobile engines

Most likely the oil should be POE but really is OEM choice. See other comments about how syringes work. You injected wet air along with the oil, be sure to pump it down extra that's a wet, open system anyway. Is it still running; it's been 5 years and your follow up could help others.

Sir agar fridge 6v 8v minimum current hai agar o ziyada 11v leraha iski vaza. Kya compressor k problem hai sir
