When I watch your videos I get confused about what I am watching, and as you progress all of a sudden I go "Ahhh That makes perfect sense !" But this ship...this one is going to be one to watch. Olha your skills are really something, your problem solving is, in my opinion is the best in model ship building. I would not think about trying to build this ship. I will do it thru you instead. Thank you. ❤❤❤

I've attempted the Billings Oseberg kit, twice and it is a deceptively difficult build. I can certainly see why and what is missing when compared to this kit. The skeleton alone is just marvelous. Thank you.

Hi Olha, love your work! a little tip, purchase a Kutzall Original Ball Nose Rotary Burr, 1⁄8" Shaft to replace the drum sander attachment they cut very fast and stay sharp, a little pricy but well worth the money. Rich

​@OlhaBatchvarov My son and I have the kit we bought for him up to the ribs now as well. Waiting now to see your solution for the side planking though before we attempt it. I hope it's simple to fix as all we have to work with is very basic hand tools😔. My little boy is eager for us to finish this kit together❤. My grandparents were from Chernivtsi so the fact the kit is from the Ukraine makes building it together with my little boy extra special to us both❤❤

On average, each video is shot within 2 weeks (sometimes a week, and sometimes 3-4 weeks). Sometimes you just have to wait for glue, paint, oil or other technological processes to dry... That's why I build several models at the same time...)))

Are those cutouts a part of the kit or a modification you’ve made to improve the build?

I already bought the beech for the planks but I'm still trying to save up the money for new blades for the table saw. Mine are no longer sharp and burn wood...

It's a good scale for the intricate frame work--that would have been a trial at 1:48.

I now have 5 projects going at once again. Because of the high humidity in the summer where I live now, I can't build some of them. Only those that are already covered with oils and protected from environmental influences. I can now build models that will be painted (that is, I can use putty to fill the gaps that will appear when the wood dries in the heating season) or like this one with clinker planking...

hello olha mon grand soleil avance bien je pars au Québec dans un mois et je vais le laisser aux Antilles jusqu'a mon retour mi octobre par contre je vais commander "oseberg" a Pavel pour le faire qd je serai au Quebec.
