Thanks for such a good explanation. I had no plan how to with a queen against a rook. You would win my queen in any case. I'm actually in the "Breaking the 800" category with a 700 rating and now I've to learn these endgames, which can happen sometimes. 😊

The queen vs Rook algorithm is not enough. It needs a lot of explanation. Or at least to explain how to reach an already well known situation like the Philledore situation
