My husband stole my earnings. He made me buy second hand live like a poor person while he kept all the money for himself brought a house then kicked out his wife and kids in a clever deceptive way. He was a grandiose narcissist. I hope he gets some punishment here in this world too.

Amin. May god destroy him. I have the same encounter except with a pretend muslim who gained my trust till I signed him on my business. He made lots of deception including using his wifes sickness to emotionally manipulate me when he went back on the agreement. May The hearts and Eyes of people like this never get a moments rest from calamity and misfortune.

Wow! I was forced into minimalism and stopped spending 2 years ago. At the same time I was becoming more spiritual and cultivating a strong relationship with allah so I automatically became more grateful and heard a lecture by mr Norman about thikir so I started doing that. A year later money started coming in and I still maintained my minimalist lifestyle because I was content. It didn’t matter anymore. الف حمد لله

Wow. Same here, I was starting a business and many doors kept closing on me , business was not going well and I lost a ton of startup money. The situation forced me into living a minimalist lifestyle and got a lot spiritually also mentally stronger during the process. Being more gratefull and most importantly...strengthening my relationship with Allah

All these things should be read, heard and practised in their own context. Otherwise it will be great tragedy. Orators like him ( may Allah bless him) give a speech in the western or the Rich Arab life context and we poor people from third world go after it with all the emotion and devotion. we start to glamorise poverty and scarcity. We never assess that their minimalism is high above our lavishness. And we impose that to our family. Our kids won't have the basic needs. Our wife breaks their back bones labouring the whole time in kitchen and farm. We insist that small salary is enough and thus allow others to exploit us with minimal salary and minimal basic needs. So always check out .. Minimalism is a glamorized life style not Poverty.. Earn and Spent for your family and near ones. Give them some relief..

@Shawn how effortlessly the word "idiot" comes in the debate.. we can comfortably boast on Abduraman(r), Osman(r) and so on.. but never understand the feelings and tyrannies of people around the globe. Still read the Quran and the Islamic sciences from dajjalian( one eyed) perspective..

I love my car, job, place I live. I am grateful and money pours in and doesn't stop. I'm not in debt. I rent an apartment with my family. I think kings don't have what I have.

😭😭😭😭three yrs ago we had nothing..we went into depts, borrowing,,,it was so embarrassing 😢but now Alhamdulillah..

Allah does not change the condition of a people till they change what is within. Change your money beliefs and know that this world is abundant and Allah has made it subservient to us insaan. Money is just a tool and energy and rich is a state of mind and a way of thinking.

The last time I celebrated eid back in 2001. I have been so poor since then suffering illness. In the past I was a victim of black magic by my own relatives. Victim of domestic violence and stalking. Inshallah I hope I can fast in the new year and next Ramadan and I will save 12 months then celebrate eid in 2020. Inshallah.....but I don't understand why my sisters spend thousands on eid clothes on one dress.
