I was asking myself about Tarawih last night, since I'm a revert I always look for answers on both sides Sunni and Shia, but honestly I prefer Shia theology and jurisprudence in general, hence why I'm a follower of the Ahlul Bayt

Your whole claim of the prophet never done it when we bring up over 100 things that shias do today, for example find me one source from your books or our books where the prophet saw said " ya ali" or "ya hussien". Even if its not in making dua to them its the way where your saying " ya allah for the sake of ali" like this liar claims. Show me the proof that this was ever done by the the prophet saw or by any of the ahlul bayt, from sunnu or shia books please. You see the difference between what we do has kept generations of people practicing a sunnah of the prophet and what you do which has turned generations into thinking your making dua to ali. And nakashwani cant refute this because he made a video trying to teach shias the meaning of it, clearly showing that its a big misconception with their people.

One of the most evil things about this Tarawhe is this: It puts people, families, communities on the spot for being Judged by each other as to who attends this ritual and who does not. It puts a harsh burden on those working people who have to go to work the next day. It shoves the religion down people's throat, therefore creating a loss of interest in the religion. That is exactly what Omar ibn Khatab was trying to do. To make each and every Muslim dislike this extra burden. Also, this was a way to figure to out who are the Shia's in the community and to weed them out and persecute them and eventually kill them. Omar had created a spy state through Tarawhe and all of the successor excluding Imam Alis A. S. used this tool to control the masses. They also used the pulpit in the same manner by either bribing or forcing the clergyman to spread falsehood which suited their power grab.

    1) Tarawih in jama’ah is bid’ah, not the prayer in and of itself. 2) For the Sunni world, they are following Umar because they view him as a mujtahid. It is no different than following Sayed Al-Sistani in a ruling that he has derived, which may not be explicitly stated in the corpus works. If we look at our own practices, there is no doubt that certain aspects that we practice weren’t practiced by the Ahlulbayt (as). For instance, majalis to commemorate the 20th day of Imam Hussain, or the 30th day. Or even the Mawlid, the Ahlulbayt were happy and celebratory on the Mawlid, but did they gather in mosques and distribute sweets and recite poetry of happiness? No. It is a bid’ah, but it’s not wrong because there is no harm in it. You are simply gathering in a halal and honourable way to remember them. Tarawih has more benefits than harm. If we’re saying it’s bid’ah based on principle, then we have to stop our own bid’ah. If we are saying it’s bid’ah to have a jab at Umar, then what’s the point? You’re not going to change anyone’s mind. For Sunnis, Umar is a mujtahid who made a ruling. If he is wrong, Allah will reward him and if he is right, Allah will reward him - and the people who follow the fatwa will also not be punished. That’s how Taqlid works for both schools of thought.

Then he (pbuh) led us in prayer until a third of the night had gone, then he did not lead us in prayer on the sixth. Then he led us in prayer on the fifth until half of the night had gone. We said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah! Wouldn't you lead us in prayer for the remainder of the night?' He said: 'Indeed, whoever stands (praying) with the Imam until he finished, then it is recorded for him that he prayed the whole night.; Then he did not lead us in prayer until three (nights) of the month remained. Then he led us in prayer on the third and he called his family and his women to pray with us until we feared missing the Falah" I (Jubair bin Nufair) said to him: "What is the Falah" He said: "The Suhur." Please explain this hadith

All the Sunnis that are ignorant usually love commenting under all the Shia pages on every platform, when evidence is shown from their own books there’s nothing to make up from their side now…Smh…Shia have proof and evidence on everything of why they do it or don’t do it and the Quran and Sunni/Shia hadith always back it up.

wonderful talk, thank you, May Allah S.W.T. bless you in this holy moth. would you please include this in one of your lectures in the next few days? Sura Fatha, first 3 verses. We the Shia believe the Prophet P.B.H. was infallible. This verse is very confusing.

I'm a Muslim. I read the Quran and pray Salatul Layl as extra worship particularly in Ramadhan. May Allah save us from innovation in religion. "...Will you not use reason?" 7.169. I would go on to further saying that engaging in religious innovation is shirk! See 6.121. Some questions for Nakshawani/Shia: You believe that Jummah and Eid prayers are only obligatory during the time of an infallible. Why then do you pray these as well as the prayer for rain (which isn't obligatory) in congregation? Is that not contradicting your position of 'only obligatory prayers in congregation?' Secondly, what is the grading of the Shia hadith you presented? I think at a minimum, only hadith classed as 'authentic' by the rijali standard should be presented. If you disagree, please explain why?

  • @AH-zf5on

That means thats a Wajib if possible Some people cant pray Salah Jumuah and it has no Qadha. Eid prayer thr same.

  • @ice2kewl112

@@AH-zf5on Actually, the Shia believe that Jummah and Eid prayers are only obligatory when there is an infallible imam present. That is, jummah can only take place behind a 'just leader'. This is why, in my imambargah, we would pray Jummah as a sunnah in congregation, then pray Zuhr individually, then pray Asr in congregation. There are even some extreme Shia that say Jummah is forbidden during the absence of an infallible, because only they can be a just leader, and everyone else is unjust. The issue with this take though, is Allah requires two just witnesses for a divorce as per Surah At-Talaq. So, I wonder how the extreme group would go about seeking a divorce when they believe there is no just people present!
