2-Stroke Garbage Picked STIHL Pole Saw - Let's Flip It $$$
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In "You Musta Misheard Me, Bro", Taryl done found this STIHL pole saw next to that hedge trimmer and is turning this into cash too. For being in rough shape, Taryl doesn't spend much to whip this bad boy into tip top shape for resale. See what it takes here.
Prior to and after the fix, local yokel Scruffy comes in once again needing some info on fixing his mower. The only problem is Taryl seems to keep mishearing him! The things you will hear customers tell you working at a shop 😂
You found that pole saw in a garbage dumpster. Holy cow man.
I got a 3.5 Tecumseh mower off the curb, needed the carb cleaned. That's it. It was 2 years old, had a cast iron cylinder. I had that mower 17 years and it still ran, although smokey, when I gave it to the people that bought my house. I also kept it outside under a trash can lid. You can do it!
The opening skit - what we have here is a failure to communicate! 😂👍
Taryl I like your channel because you’re consistently wholesome with your audience and your unintrusive humor is over the top you’re a unique individual getting all kinds of followers because of how you act always puts a smile on my face when I see you upload

I'm still laughing about the skit. Y'all nailed it again.
Another great trash to treasure video. Great job 😊
Thanks for another awesome show, Taryl! You guys ROCK!!!!!
I bought the handbrake a Stihl pole saw with a chainsaw, hedge trimmer and brush cutter attachment and I have to say it's frickin' awesome!
That's a good fix there, love the small engine equipment with the adjustable carbs, those are the good ones....
One of my favorite channels.
I'm definitely someone that will yoink tools right out of the garage if I see it to see if I can fix it.
Amazing skit today guys
I look forward to the weekend to check out your newest videos. Thanks for the great informative content as well as the comedy. Great stuff Taryl and company.
Funny, funny skillful guy for years to come!
Thank you for the video Knoxville TN
Hey Taryl that man is coming to get his Pole saw. 🤣😂🤣
When the stihl tree trimmer started running he said to the tree limb just hold stihl🤣
Dam taryl I made the mistake of sharing your video with my wife and she is making me fix everything. And she is imitaten you. She is doing FIRE IT UP, FIRE IT UP and WOO,WOO WHEN THE DAM THANG RUNS. you know of chores she puts my ass to work with it. the yard looks better thanks to you and. Anywho thanks for the great videos. I think she is going to get me a set of your teeth she already made me a spark plug necklace.
Taryl, all the best! Great job as usual . Enjoyed the skit with your buddies.
Red Green plus Bob Ross equals Taryl
that opening is 110% me, & my friends. 🤣
I’m always finding stuff in the landfill dumpster Good video 👍
Lot's of fun and info! Thanks Taryl!
I once left my polesaw engine first in an old black dustbin. The shed leaked and when I wanted to use it the bin was filled with rainwater. The polesaw was hydraulic locked and must have been all over winter . Within a few hours I had it cleaned up and new plug plus fuel . The polesaw was a good one . There impressive machines .
Thanks foe the fun time and education!
Thank you for the info very helpful
Another great video to enjoy with breakfast on a Sunday morning. 👍🏻 Taryl is the best! Now please pass the syrup.
I may have posted this before, but I was employed by Poulan/Weedeater in the 90’s. This was before it changed ownership half a dozen times. During production, we would do like you done with the fuel line and cut it at an angle. Another thing we done to help pulling fuels lines and also hooking up the lines to the carb, was to dip the lines in a small amount of 2 stroke oil and use a piece of Emory cloth to keep a grip on the line
It's great getting the boys to help. My Dad had us working seven days a week younger than ten. He always said that he wanted to teach us how to work. He was a good Father. In case you aren't aware, you can buy harmless dark blue dye for the pond. It blocks the sunlight stopping vegatation growth.
love this trash find fix videos 😍😍
Fire it up. Fire it up
Another great find and repair…👍👍👍
Love that "You're a hack!" voice! Great job
now is the perfect tie of year to find all this treasure...everyone tries to use their gas stuff and it doesn't start so they kick it to the curb
I need me a pair of them diagonal cutters. They sound awesome.
Junior: "Pa, UPS delivery is here. I think your pallet of carb spray is here."
Mine must be 20 yrs old or more and still looks new. Love that saw
Love your videos 📹 Taryl
@Taryl Fixes All you are very entertaining you made my day thank you
Nice fix friend; i have used pieces of 5 gallon bucket plastic that i melt to fix reservoirs and tanks; take care.
My brigs and Stratton on my track Barrow was Surging insanely it’s only 2 years old. Drained the gas cleaned the carb ran nice for a while the started to surge again. Drained the gas added Ethanol free gasoline and it cleared right up. This 10% ethanol is hell on small engines.
Got one of those STIHL poll saws. They work great. I have cut 8-inch limbs before with no problem. Make sure the chain is sharp and these STIHL poll saws are a great piece of equipment. Your arms will get a real work out there is no doubt about that. At my local outdoor power equipment dealer, the poll saw cost 600 dollars 11 years ago. I am sure they are more now. Great find Taryl, I am sure you won't have any problem selling that poll saw. Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it.

I'm in Australia. I recently priced Stihl pole saws. Cheapest model was A$800 up to A$1800.
Oh my, that was funny 😂😂🤣 Nicely done with the fix too. ker-ching!👍
Thank you!!
Great show 👏
Excited to see the Slippers t-shirts back. Got one on the way!
I need to find the garbage cans this man frequents.
love the content.. i come here to learn and i stay because im entertained ..
Nice ,I have learned so much from your channel thanks, Happy Easter.. now go eat dinner
It would sell for a lot more if it had a new cover. The broken cover makes it look like it's about to stop working.

As stated in the video, the cover was on order and came in and went on it. All good now 👍
Good skit today! lol
Happy Easter
Ice studio! Grape flix on the soul paw!
I think I seen Taryl rootin round in my trash can the other day for that ol Kohler sump I tossed out
My father-in-law brought me a Stihl BR 600 few years ago he picks up scrap metal around town brought to me see if I can get it running the apartment complex that give him scrap metal we’re were throwing it a way because it wou. Run. Needed new gas lines they were cracked and broke. It’s amazing what people will throw away a good piece of equipment just because of something simple.
Great video. I’d like to see A DAY IN THE LIFE OF TARYL DAVTAL. SHOWING EVERYTHING TARYL WOULD GO THROUGH IN ANY GIVEN DAY
Happy Easter Taryl
Wow..what a find taryl..I bought one new..cost around 800$ cdn
I have one of them that was a good rebuild thanks 👍👍👍👍😎
Happy Easter grass rats!
Great video Taryl , love watching your videos, love fixing my own stuff just rebuilt carb on my ole roper tiller , good as new
Taryl, speaking of a missing screw, I was at the scrap yard, and found a Stihl screwdriver and handed it to an employee. He said he might have a screw loose. I told him don't ask me to tighten it as I might over tighten it and then he might spaz out.
I'll be dog gone, I WAS THERE, I heard that argument. It sounds like you were there too. I'm damn glad I seen this, I got a guy with free won't run equipment.
The bat-tree 😂😂😂😂
Every old two stroke I’ve lucked up on has needed crank seals. If a good carb won’t make it run right, the crank seals are leaking and making it run lean
I picked up a Remington electric pole saw at the scrap yard. A guy brought 7 chainsaws in one day from a clean out. They all looked good, but I didn't need a gas saw.
I always put the carb in my harbor freight sonic cleaner. That sonic cleaner is great for those little carbs. But you lucked out .. sounds good!!
Wish I had lucky dumpsters
Hold on. T Shirt with a pocket? I'm in. Need sweatshirts with a full zipper.
Have a great Easter grass rats thanks for sharing buddy
I like cousin Jaryl Jack. He finds Echo equipment and short blocks in the dumpster.
Great fix up! As for 2stroke mufflers I just take them off and take a torch to them until they glow orange, let them cool put them back on and are good to go.
Thank You Taryl for another Interesting Video I admire your ingenuity and fabrication , in the Spring time i always look for discarded things people throw in the trash especially Weedwhackers , Leaf blowers and mowers 8 times out of ten it is old fuel , People are just to laze to put the effort into fixing the problem . Just go buy another one , so sad
Hey there Taryl, nice skip find. I hear those Zama metering guages are mighty popular in Russia these days, but they wear 'em around their necks...😉

Taryl i❤ love this video
I have a shop that looks like yours only difference is I can’t remember where I put stuff and spend a lot of time looking for parts or tools so I go buy new items only to find a week later what I was looking for when searching for something else, life’s good!
Eco fuel lines on the steel that’s like putting the Ford engine in the Chevy 😂😂😂😂
He Taryl, I use weed wacker cord as filler material and a solder iron to fix plastic parts all the time, I tell my nephew it my 3-D printer lol
@donmayberryjrsOPE
Жыл бұрын
Gonna try that!
I also had to repair the oil tank on mine using a soldering iron, I think that in 20 years I lost three caps, I think them used to cost about €5 or €6 but the last one a couple years ago already cost me €10 at my nearest Stihl *stealer* 👿
Nice
Jam a bunch of zip tie in a hot melt glue gun. fix the leak.
@donmayberryjrsOPE

That actually works? A glue gun will melt zip ties?
By the looks of your trees you might oughta keep it!
Aint no Big Fing Rocket
15:40 looks like with that one you could just use anything with a flat edge.
Well I've use several different brand of fuel line hose from different supplier's and I've found the Stihl black hose holds up the best and the Oregon yellow holds up the best . I get both from my local Mom and Pop family run lawnmower shop that is also a Stihl dealer . I give them a hard time kinda like Taryl peeps do him in the videos . When I find a freebie like that or been given one I also take the muffkin off and see how much carbon is in the exhaust port and the muffkin and clean all the carbon off and might do a muffkin mod on it too depending on what it is .You need to find tune that carb a little more Taryl . Sounds like you're having a " hootenanny " ---- I ain't heard that word in years 🤣😂😅

Stihl's black line seems to fit just right every time!
Worst is that it was just thrown away... granted, sure a piece or two missing here and there, doesn't run, and a cracked tank, some people just write it off...which if they've had it a long time and paid the price, sure. But FREE, then fix the small issues? Easily worth it.
I am constantly finding trash in the garbage.
Sweet
Only thing I ever found in the dumpster was a seized up toro snowblower. I got it running use it two years pull start broke so I found one for 25 bucks. Now it’s parts snowblower
Hey Taryl. Stens makes a rotating clamp for shaft tools. I bought one 12 years ago and is the cats ass. Good tool to make life easier.
Final test is to get it good and hot and see if it stays running.
Hi Taryl. I have a Husqvarna yth 2348 with the Briggs v-twin. I recently changed the air filter, plugs, fuel filter, put fresh fuel in it. It runs good, but I have to prime it to get it to start. I cleaned the carb (originally had 10% fuel in it that pretty much turned to syrup). Is this symptoms of a fuel pump starting to fail? I had considered putting a primer bulb on the fuel line.
Bang, bang, yow! Bang, bang, yow!
😊stihl HT 103 has issue of the extend drive tube moving backwards and disengaging from the drive head! The final push spring only contacts and pushes on the extend splined drive tubes end bearing sleeve and does not contact the tube itself, so the tube is free to move backward until it contacts the bearinged plastic centering divider between number 3 and 4th spring. The parts break down shows the assembly order and that is how this is put together. Any ideas? I removed the final fourth spring and the 3rd spring was able to push the bearinged plastic forward and maintain contact with the extend drive tube and it operates without any disengagement. How did it work when it was new and not have disengagement issues?
Just went thru a ht75 looked a lot like your dumpster dog ! Them old things keep going . Bent shaft obsolete I got er straightened out . Nice vids!
What? What? What? What?😂
Another successful resurrection.
