Hey everyone, this is Thomas, I just want to say that the morning I walked out with TD to meet Staffan was so strange. I've been a skeptical of "energy" and how much influence manifesting something can have. But that morning, I decided to approach looking for a stranger differently. I took my time. I wanted to create the most optimal headspace for myself. I went for a run, meditated, felt grateful about the opportunities we have and everyone around us and decided that I was going to walk out the door and change someone's life. Changing someone's life might sound hyperbolic to some of you, but I knew that whatever would happen that day, it would forever alter their perception of the world. Then TD landed that morning and arrived with equally good vibes. But we weren't in a rush. We didn't stress about "finding someone" for the episode, or just filming for the sake of filming. Instead, we went for coffee to catch up before going out, we took our time prepping the gear and making sure we were both in the right headspace. We made a dozen small decisions that morning that pushed us back by 5 minutes each time, then walked out and immediately met Staffan. You might call this luck. But for me, this just showed how our perspective, intention and the energy we bring to everything we do is important beyond measure. You just can't fake it. It's real and fires inside of you. TD was for the longest time one of the most skeptical people I've ever met but through experiences like this, he now fully believes anything is possible. Believing and positive energy can truly go a long way. Much love

Isn't it beautiful how Staffan's 'Yes' forever changed his life? He gained true brothers and friends for life, and he's getting to speak in front of so many seekers at the Iceman premiers - just as he had always dreamed/envisioned. All this thanks to that one moment. That moment of saying yes to life, yes to stepping into the unknown and flying across the globe to swap lives with a stranger. How wonderfully stars aligned. it takes 72 hours to get Esta approved for travels to the US from EU unless he already had a valid one. Each esta approval is for two years. So how was this possible for Steffen to travel the day after. Is this scripted?. Still love the channel regardless cuz its great entertainment.

@@billy6243 There might be a special agreement with Sweden. I mean, i dont know, but some countries do have special agreements. Maybe thats why Sweden was chosen for this. Edited: yes, I googled this and this is from Sweden's tourism website: "Swedish citizens going to the US for tourism or business* and who will stay for 90 days or less might be able to travel without a visa ". You can google it

You can tell Staffan has been through a lot of tough times in his life; you can see it in his eyes. But despite that he's still so happy and has a positive outlook on life which I think is so admirable.

Apart from the plane ticket, you don’t need much. The comfort snd lifestyle we’re used to in Western countries comes at a price: a planned life path. If you’re willing to put that path on hold and dare to discover that it doesn’t really affect your chances “back home”, it can be an eye-opening experience to live somewhere else for a year, doing simple stuff for not a lot.

That asian guy later on is with yes theory and Staffan all those 3 days, you can see him in the football game, in the river, jogging, etc. So yeah he also participated in this experience in a certain way :)

FUN FACT: I actually ran into the guys in Austin while they were looking for people to go to Sweden! I was walking from my office to grab lunch! My boss said I couldn’t take the time off from work. Just seeing the YT videos all these years, meeting them, and having to turn down a badass opportunity like this inspired me to quit my job because it wasn’t conducive to living the life I wanted to live. Proud to say, almost a year later, that I am living my dream. Because of you guys, YesTheory, my life changed. As a new Yes Theory fan circa 2024, it's crazy to think of the channel without Staffan. Watching this video now after many current videos first, it's still hard to think of the team without Staffan's infectious energy. I'm so glad he had an awesome experience and stayed on! He saeemed natural from the first second. Also, Alex deserves some props for snawering "who would say no to this?!" in the first moments!

Here I am coming back years later after I saw Staffan was the host of the movie premier. And here he was just a passerby in the street and suddenly he became a huge part of this channel. We all love Staffan and it's curious but awesome how can one become such an important part of someone else's life in an instant.

How wonderful is the fact that Staffan is now part of the Yes Theory. This makes me think about how some stranger can actually change someone's life forever. I could bet that Staffan deeply has been manifesting for this adventure trip. After I found this meaningful youtube channel, I become more open-minded and motivated to live my life than ever. I already believe that, without knowing it, there's someone around the corner who will change and make your life better, if you are open to it.

I can't believe I haven't already seen this upload! It's the first Staffan video... Something about Steffan has always resonated with me as personally inspiring. I've always felt a little different from most people socially. The way he handles everything so bravely has given me motivation to try harder to step out and explore the world and people around me more. I'm so happy you are part of the team now.

Staffan and Alex are both such awesome dudes they are both perfect for this and looks like they both had an awesome time experiencing the other country!

I remember watching this video when it first came out and thinking Steffan was such a cool and wholesome person. It makes sense why Yes Theory made him an official member. He embodies everything about the Yes Theory motto. I'm so happy for him and for all the videos he's contributed too since joining Yes Theory. He's such an inspiration and so incredible to watch grow as a human being !! Edit: If Steffan is ever in LA I would love to show you around as someone who was born and raised here. Screw the tourists spots, I'll show you the REAL LA that only the natives know about !!

So this is what a life changing experience is called. It is not a tragedy. It is not combating a disease. Or losing somebody dear to you. It Saying Yes to life and the experiences that you go through.

Staffan is a diamond and I’m so glad you found him. I watched this video when it was first released and cried happy tears over his experience and connection with the YT boys and now watching it back again knowing that a true friendship was made 😭❤ His charismatic energy is something we get to see more of now and I’m so happy. He really said yes to his entire future and that’s so inspiring!

Weird to see Staffan in this context when I saw the other videos where he is already part of Yes Theory. The world is so spontaneous and good.

Staffan is so freaking pure, I love how he just can't help but tell everyone how happy and grateful he is to be in America, he's too pure for this world

But who we are? Just a human being? Than how are we different? We differ with our attitude to life, our actions, our mindset, our perception of life. (I'm not talking about soul and spirit now) That means Stefan is not right. But his point is good in not blaming yourself for your failures. Failures mean that you take action and that is good. Keep doing and failure turns into experience and eventually into success.

Kirill Dude you did not get the point at all, the fact that we are different is what makes us who we ARE, we can never be someone else, even trying to be someone else defines who we ARE, on the other side we can DO anything and nothing, if we DO something the further improves or shows who we ARE then it would be a 1/1 fraction, a whole number, an equilibrium, and we would be whole and full filled. Basically he is saying it is ok to fail at what we do because we should strive to DO something that answers who we ARE. At least that I how I interpreted his words.

He put it this way: You're not a loser if you fail, you are still who you are. So keep trying, it's ok to fail, don't be afraid of failing.

The strangest thing is I've lived in negative vibes for so long that it felt alien to smile for so long watching this. Emotions I haven't felt for such a long time came up from inside me. Thank you for inspiring me to allow myself to be happy again.
