This song was written and recorded first by Dolly Parton not Whitney. Plus Putri butchered the whole song. Neither Dolly or Whitney would be proud. People need to stop trying compare two different artist in different environments. For me I like Dolly’s original version the best. Lucy has a big advantage over Putri because of accent and language barrier. Lucy has lived in Northern England her whole life. She speaks with a King English accent. So all of her words are very clear and concise. If you every here her speak. It would scare the hell out of you. You would say how does that speaking voice equate to that singing voice. I get that Putri singing and accent doesn’t bother people from her area of the world. But for the English speaking people it will always be just a little off.
