​@@Not_Livid He's not though, I personally just workout shirtless at home. But those performance, spandex like shorts are made for working out in. So that makes no sense, the only other option at a gym is to wear a regular t shirt, which has no resistance, get's drenched in sweat and is uncomfortable.

I have to disagree about the homemade stringers or cutoffs. I think for a lot of guys they look good in them. A little chest fat never hurt anyone. If you’ve got the arms, traps and shoulders for one, chest fat isn’t a deal breaker imo

Nothing wrong with either outfit; if you’re bigger the cut off shirt aka “bro tank” can actually be cooler and less conforming to the body making it easier for bigger men or larger muscle men to work out in, plus it can be made out of any old t-shirt, so it can thrown out if it gets too worn from workouts and doesn’t break the bank. Every gym I’ve been in the men are usually very supportive of the more overweight guys trying to make change ; they’re not judging them in a negative way.

I wear homemade tank tops when I go on my 3 mile walks. If I need to stop by a store on the way home, I’ll wear it there too. No one ever says anything. It’s hot in Florida.

It's hilarious because there's this teenager who goes to my gym, everyday, almost to the point where I think he's cutting class, and he's his in good shape with probably 10% bf, but he legit rotates between these two exact shirts everyone day. They teenagers also pair those skin tight performance shirts (which are usually Under Armor) with baggy plaid pajama pants!

Bro is making everyones day to day life decisions as hard as whether to drop a nuclear bomb or not

Only teenagers who take selfies every 10 minutes care what others think about the clothing they wear at the freaking gym.

I would never wear either of these. The first one because I hate how loose it looks, and I don't like how free my sweat will be with something like that on. The second one? That's already too much fabric. I just stick with a shirt and shorts, and I tend to wear black so sweat doesn't stand out. Also, I don't wear bright colors if any strenuous exercise is involved. I remember going to the arcade and playing Dance Dance Revolution with colored clothing, and my sweat showed up so easily that I felt pretty embarrassed. I wore black ever since. The sweat was more hidden, I was presentable, and the fact that black makes me look skinny anyways was a huge benefit.

If you’re trying to wear these to look good in the gym then idk. But most people working out really don’t care what you look like and are a bunch of very supportive people. I have some flabs on my chest and tummy but I wear both of those because the compression shirts feels good to run with, and wearing a muscle tee helps me workout better when I can see my muscle engaging. To each their own 🤷‍♂️.

I prefer stringers or personal cut tanks I know this isn’t specifically for one but indirectly it is. See I’m 5’10 235 lbs and yes I’m fluffy in the middle but I have more muscular arms then anything I just don’t work the mid section cause I don’t want abs.
