some of us use Win7 which does not support Python 3.12 but only 3.8. Upon installing V3.8 and running the python3 --version, system responded with "python is not recognized as an internal or external command"

i have installed python latest version , but still, when i enter the cmd python --version in my cmd prompt, they say that python was not found. what should i do?

For MacOs I dont see the "add python.exe to path" option. This is version 3.12.4

No, not really. Unless you are working as a professional, you dont really need the Pycharm. I tried it wthout Pycharm and it works just as fine for me as a student.
