Not a chance, they've been friends for 10+ years and since they first debuted co-op they've become a lot closer so it would take something pretty extreme to break that. Plus Alex was active in Ben's chat.

Love Thomb! 2 player career can be lighthearted and fun. We have Creator Series for the genuine competition. It’s not like we’re not going to see Ben and Alex race each other anymore. It’s not that deep

I know they're afraid to add basically ANY dirty air effect because the casuals will cry that they can't overtake 20 cars a race, but they need to do something for the more hard core players among us that are sick of having to use AI cars every race to just get towed along at a pace that is sooo much faster than should be possible just because we have little to no loss in the corners following and then get a MASSIVE straight line boost with DRS lap after lap. I'm a career sweat and I'd love even just a simple slider or toggle in the options to increase dirty air effect, just the same as you can adjust damage realism, so I can have realistic races. If it means I fight for half a race trying to make an overtake or even end up in a good old dra train then so be it, it's REALSTIC! Plus then defending would also actually be possible against slightly faster cars without having to just cheese the AI's lack of race craft and park the bus like a moron holding off redbulls in a Alpine lol
