I was 14, 1996 , addicted to weed & just started using speed & heroin ( injecting ) , breaking into cars at night looking for cash in ashtrays ( would get a few hundred before sunrise , especially from vans ) anyway 1 car there was a blank tape with no writing on it & for some reason I decided to take it, I usually only took cash as I would need to carry to the next car & the next all night unless I was ready to go home, anyway when I got home I played it , it was 2pac me against the world album, I never heard of him before this , it was like a new drug, I couldn’t stop playing it, I don’t think it helped my situation in life, maybe made it worse, but I still listen now in 2024, always remember how I found him, when I was about 17 I had to stop listening for a while, was kinda suic***l & R U still down album was kinda making it worse, but no artist has ever made me feel so many emotions like pac did & still does, good & bad , anyway I hope anyone reading has an awesome day & any youngsters suffering with mental health & drug addiction & life circumstances make the decision to change while still young, the hardest day is the 1st day , every day after is slightly easier. ✌️🇦🇺

I got the same opinion! He achieved something at a time when it was still very difficult to reach people with these harsh, brutal but honest words! He reached people all over the world and highlighted grievances that could hardly be imagined! Where from?? I can't remember this ever being reported in the news (Europe) in the 90s! He managed to get people (like me, who lived in the farthest corner of Bavaria) to listen! The focus of people outside of America was no longer exclusively on the Hollywood dream factory, the best series, the King of Pop or the land of opportunity! But on the grievances that these people were exposed to every day. And that there was no justice there! He had a reach that is only possible today via the Internet!!! PAC didn't know he was that much of a leader..nor that ppl loved him that much. He knew he had leader qualities but he never knew the thug life nation would be so big. That with one word he could get all walks of life to listen to him and follow his lead. PAC was young, wild and having fun..making money but had a sharp mind full of ideas.
