20 years of the first of my life Pluto was closer than Neptune. In 1999, that changed and has a 248 orbit. They will never collide, but if it was possible it wouldn't happen until the year 2227.
So, pluto did not collide with Neptune 2 minutes ago. And how does a body with a 248 year period and an elliptical orbit that crosses Neptune's orbit only twice in that period be doing it every 20 years within its orbit?
Is there currently an unusual alignment of planets, our moon, and the sun?
