I have had my 2021 Bronco since Dec of 21, no issues, nothing, been very happy and fortunate. However, today, June 27 2024 out of nowhere the rear driver side window would not pop down to open and would not go up automatically either. I did this and it worked in one try, thanks!

Bro, yer a life saver. I only have barely four hundred miles on my Bronco and here I am thinking I have to take this thing to the dealer already with only 4 months old with me 😄. Simple easy fix 👍 thanks big time!!

@@NorthwestBronco 2023 outer banks. My windows (all 4) go up n down with one touch, but one window (back passenger) will not go up in the same manner. Is there a way to fix that?

Great info. Thank you! My first try at this did not fix the issue, however. I called Ford, and the service manager told me to repeat this process three times in a row. I did so, and it worked like a charm for both windows I was having the issue with. Just thought I'd mention this since the video doesn't mention repeating the process.

I will 2nd this 3rd times a charm on fixing the gap issue when closing the door. If it doesn’t work do it 3x in a row!

Appreciate the help. It fixed the issue with my front driver window but not rear driver window. that one seems to too far off track to reset.

I have an issue with two of my windows that will periodically roll up and then immediately roll back down. I usually have to open and close the door, then trial and error to get it to stay up. I didn't know about this routine, but I'll try it the next time it happens and see if it also "fixes" that issue.

I really wish they’d actually address this. I’ve had to “fix” this every month. It’s absurd. The windows losing memory is not normal, especially with any kind of frequency.

It fix my issue but only temporarily 😢 it keeps doing it again after awhile. I might check the two bolts under the door maybe if it helps. Thx

The bolts won't help the electronic issue. The bolts are more for floppy windows. If you keep having the window not going up and down all the way, it's most likely a computer problem. Now and then the computer may get confused and needs to be reset (the procedure in the video) but if it continues, I'd bring it in to the dealership for repair.

I had to repeat it twice before it worked

Yep, you don't even have to fully roll the window down - just roll up and hold for few seconds. Any ideas why this happens in the first place?

Hmmmm. Try disconnecting the battery. Let it sit for 5 min or so. Hook her back up and see if the problems fixed.

Thank you. I'm a really simple guy. I use my iphone for filming, a cheap little iphone mic, and edit on the drag and drop Microsoft video editor. I've tried better editing software, but I just can't figure it out. I try to come up with a little something 3-4 time a week that people may enjoy or find useful. I'd hate to export videos for editing since I like to do things myself. Plus, once I start recording my adventures, the videos take a lot of trimming.
