I took my Mom to Paris for her birthday & Mother's Day and I was lucky to be able to book four Michelin starred restaurants around Paris for a week. This is the first of four restaurants. Please feel free to join us! (PS I did not tell the restaurant that this is for a birthday because I don’t want them to do anything extra)

we tried to look inside Shakespeare & Company because it was just in front of our hotel but the line is too long so we decided to visit it next time.
Nice walk along the Seine River.. We stayed in Hotel Notre-Dame Saint Michel and it's the perfect spot! It's in front of the Seine river and Île de la Cité.. walking distance to almost all of the best landmarks in Paris. I will review & show it later for you but we are going to the restaurants for now.
Le Meurice Hotel. It is an ornate hotel with a long history of hosting notable people like Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso..
Restaurant Le Dali. Maybe because Dali stayed in the hotel a lot that they named one of their restaurants after him. If you can't reserve a table in Alain Ducasse, try Le Dali because it looks and "tastes" like the crew of Alain Ducasse works for Le Dali as well. I took my Mom in Le Dali for dinner too and the food was very good.. I will post a review about it later.

Tasting Menu Receipt. One of the best restaurants I've ever tried! The food was simple but complex, inspired by flavors around the world, the deserts and bread were from Cedric Grolet (need I say more?), the crew moves like a well-oiled machinery, and the Philippe Starck designed restaurant was inspired by the Peace Room of Versailles. Great Job! You have to book a table!

Great video! My wife and I have reservations here in November. Would you recommend doing the 5 courses over the 3? What is the dress code? What other restaurants did you go do?

Yes, go all the way! It's so good! Dress code is business casual to formal and try to avoid wearing running shoes. I've tried a few Michelin starred restaurants that I would visit again like Jean Imbert in Plaza Athenee, L'Oiseau Blanc in Peninsula. The Dali restaurant beside Alain Ducasse is actually yummy, they have the same team. Kodawari Ramen is pretty good, Maison de la Truffle in Madeleine is not bad as well, Girafe by Trocadero and George's on Centre Pompidou's rooftop are good spots to watch the tower/ sunset. But if it's too cold they might not open the outdoor seating areas. Have fun in Paris! ^___^

I have only, one criticism for this video, Keno. You focused your attention entirely, too much on the food! Here, we are, in one of the most spectacular restaurants in all the world, and we're not even seeing it! All we're seeing is that darn food! I WANT TO SEE THE ROOM, THE SPECTACULAR BEAUTY OF THE ROOM! If I wanted to spend my time looking at food, I'd visit my kitchen pantry! I mean REALLY!

Ahah! Thanks for your feedback! I did show the room a little bit, it’s just that, the dinner takes forever, maybe next time, I’ll make sure to shoot in wide angle, I was using a 35mm lens equivalent and it made it harder to capture the whole place 😆🩵🩵🩵 thank you 😊

@@KENOGoodVibesOnly Aww, thanks, Keno! I'll be looking for it. How long do you estimate I should wait? Until the new video comes out, I guess, this one will have to do. I like it with dinner. I play another video in the background of a piano player from The Ritz Carlton. It's all very nice, as it's like eating out, in a fine restaurant. For some reason, though, tonight, I was very anxious to experience the room. I did enjoy the waiter coming to the table, though. It was one of the few times I could see how spectacular the room is.
