Would you get any of these lenses for your a6700?

Am not really a fan of zoom lenses. I would prefer primes, the Sigma quartet (16, 23, 30 & 56mm) at f1.4...I don't mind changing lenses. But that just me...

Yes, quality wise, I would prefer the Sigma primes. But I think that’s where the preference lies, the switching lenses. 🙂 Even with the zooms, I sometimes could not take as much photos and videos as I want as I need to tend to the kids. What more if I had primes 🙂

Actually The tamron 17-70 is a better lens with his focal length and overall specs. The only con is his size. I also travel a lot and sometimes because of the size, I have almost sold it to buy a sigma. But I can’t, since 20mm is a big deal for me 🥲🥹

@@jarryandria agree on all points. Except that our priorities are different. I wouldn’t mind losing the 20mm for the size difference 🙂

What do you mean by full frame size equivalent? This is has been confusing me

Equivalent mean equal. So the sigma crop lens is 18-50mm is equal to a full frame 28-75mm. Since the crop has a 1.5x crop.

10-18 or sony 11mm 1.8?

I’d go for the 10-18 for more versatility. But for better low light, go with the 11mm 1.8.

Which lens is best for portrait photos.

Among the two, you'd want to go with the 18-50 for portrait photos.
