It's the second day when rain started playing hide and seek with me when i started heading for Kollam. Though the natural beauty of Kerala goes beyond imagination level when it receives slight rainfall , all the colours start looking more vivid. It was the day when I took a detour to Jatayu Earth Centre located at Chadayamangalam before heading towards Kollam where Munroe Islannld and specially my trip to Sambranikodi at Ashtamudi lake just made my day. It was an amazing experience walking in a knee level natural lake.

How much is the cost for Boating in Munroe island?

In munroe island it will start from 300 and goes upto 1500.. depending on how long you want to stay in lake and distance u want to cover while boating.. In Sambranikodi the ferry fare is only 50 rs for both way journey.. and the place where u get down in water..thats a different world..neat and clean sand below water..
How to reach from Mumbai.. Boating charges at manori island?

Book train ticket from Mumbai to Kollam( 25 hrs journey - cheaper ) or a flight to Thiruvananthapuram and then a cab or Kerala STC bus to Kollam.. from Kollam again opt for bus to Sambranikodi ( Munroe Island ) or take reserved auto till Sambranikodi ( Rs 1500 ).. boating charge is only Rs 50 for both way journey.. Visit lake Ashtamudi..walk on it.. as the sand is neat, clean and water is upto knee level as shown in video..

@@funfliers8866 Rs 50 if you go to Sambranikodi.. but boating charges vary from 500 to 1500 on the duration of boating and distance covered in Lake.. so negotiate well with them..
