This park is fantastic. The lake is so shallow in parts you can walk out super far, but there is also a deeper area with cliffs where folks used to dive.

Usually I'm a little irritated by interruptions to the dreamlike forward motion of the hiking, to show a "still", but this time there was so much gorgeous scenery at this location to look at, I'm really grateful! My elementary school class went on this hike once back in the 70s (the school was in Golden). I can still remember this walk after all this time. A bit rougher terrain but none of us cared, we got to sit in the forest and eat our lunches; it was an amazing experience for us kids.

A suggestion: Include the start of the trail. Pause to look at the signs showing the trail maps and the bear warnings and such. Start from as you leave the parking lot and enter the forest. People can skip that if they want to but without the start of the hike this feels incomplete.

Oh Canada! You are exquisitely stunning, your beauty is like nothing that I have ever seen before, (and I have been to Hawaii where beauty is EVERYWHERE). The Emerald Lake is beyond gorgeous (my favorite part of this video is the lake) and the walk UP to the mountain, I didn't care for the walk back as much. Not enough video of the lake I guess. I felt extremely decieved!! You must have used a soundtrack of tropical birds chirping because during the ENTIRE video that's all that a person hears, it was WAY TOO MUCH!! And another thing that I noticed was that when you were at the mountain and the lake, you used a soundtrack of lapping waves WHEN THERE WEREN'T ANY!! This is a LAKE NOT the OCEAN, your soundtrack was ANNOYING and UNNECESSARY! I sincerely would have LOVED to have just heard you walking through the woods on the pathway! What kind of camera did you use? Your camera is phenomenal to say the least, it picked up the absolute truest colors! Great job recording!! I would have LOVED to have seen a Bear, Elk, Moose, Deer, mountain goat or even a mouse, but, no, not even a mouse and that's odd!! I'am assuming that overnight camping is NOT allowed here, since I didn't see any signs of it anywhere. Evidently, there's fish in the lake, because of the fishermen fishing from their boats. I see many potential camping sites for tents to be put up, where trucks and campers could park, trailers and 5th wheel RV'S could be set up and NOT disturb anybody or anything, daily, weekly or monthly reservations to camp here would be ideal!! Thank you for sharing this video!

Enjoy a pleasant walking tour through beautiful forest to Emerald Lake, I love this video, quiet and relaxing, but then all of a sudden this very loud and annoying advertisement comes on and destroys the relaxing feeling. When everything is so relaxing, the ad is a real blow to the senses . LOL Guess I will just have to save the video to my computer then watch it without the ads.
