I love riding the Matterhorn at night when you go in and you go up the middle and you come out that first view of the whole park is just what it's really about for me. You get the view of everything at night and it reminds me of where I am and what I'm doing ....it's one of the best feelings of my life and I guess that's why I repeat it!!!!!!🎉❤

The feeling of not wanting the night to end is why I always park at Mickey and Friends. The Tram gives just that last minute of my Disneyland day.

I’m so glad you’re making these Disneyland videos. I used to live outside of San Francisco and my husband and I loved going there. I notice the submarines are back. We’re now too old to go. No way could we walk that far and stand that long. So I get to relive those days watching your videos. I love the excitement you see in some people’s eyes. Dang, slow pokes made you miss the monorail

Funny story Dave (I'm about your age). One trip to Disneyland as a kid (I was probably 12) it was my mom, my best friend and his mom. Our parents let us go on our own for a few hours (I miss 80s parenting). He and I spent most of our time in the Starcade playing video games (we played a lot of Tron at the time). When we met back up with our moms they asked what we did. Without thinking much of it we told them we were in the arcade. We got a good "talking to" about wasting our time in the arcade. The Starcade is still one of my favorite memories of childhood Disneyland. Good times :)

Very entertaining video. When we went to Disneyland in the 1960s, the Penny Arcade was an actual penny arcade. Drop in your penny, hand crank one of the many machines, and watch silent movies and vaudeville acts. Now it’s just another retail store, I see.

I wish I was alive for those days of Disneyland! I was born in 2001 so the only notable thing I got to see was the rough early days of California adventure. I wish they had gone through with building west cot and Disney sea in Long Beach

Grrrr this was the closest I was to you. While you got on Autopia, my family and I were exiting Small World. At 10pm, I told my wife, you likely closed down DCA and migrated to DL. One day I’ll get a selfie with you lol. Thanks for the great content David!

I remember when the Penny Arcade was an actual one, not another merchandise shop.

I remember that feeling, there’s something replenishing walking through the parks after a brutal grind of a day. I also needed to do this after work sometimes, but Reservation system took the privilege of going to the parks whenever you needed that fix. So annoying!!

Usually the last Monorail leaves a half hour before park close.

FreshBaked. David, Disneyland at my pace, how sweet it is. Do we know why they stopped the Main St. Vechiles running late at night? At the start of Pirates where have all the firefly's gone? Maybe it's after their bedtime. Sadly missed Main St. has'nt been dressed in all it's July 4th Flags and Bunting. I wonder whose idea that was. In Walt's day that person would be looking for a new job today. Disneyland will alway's be Disneyland but management has no idea really. You can see in spite of all the cutbacks Disneyland runs itself really. Cheers, Chris Perry.

I like how you don't tell the people exiting the Space Mountain queue that there is a much more convenient way to exit. I wouldn't tell them either, let em` suffer 😂

Tomorrowland just needs PeopleMover 2.0, Rocket Jets 2.0 ( back on platform, maybe an Artemis themed), Space 220 ( in LaunchBay) and something at the TL Theater.

@@elliestevens9204- You wouldn't lose the subs & autopia. The end of line club is a restaurant/night club that could take up the Carousel building. They could turn the Pizza Planet space back into a attraction.
