This is an underrated channel that should generate more subs over time. As many will agree I am sure, as much as content is important, its all about the voice. And the voice here is great. It has the cadence here of Shiny Gold Tales, but less detached sounding, but also a straightforward style of delivery, reminiscent of Mr. Nightmare, including using what I call the gramophone or bullhorn effect when uttering quotes during the narration, which I really like.

I completely agree, the voice makes the channel and this guy is criminally undersubscribed. This channel will blow up when it catches the attention of the YT algorithm. Choice of content is important too though. I won’t subscribe unless both are good, no artificial voices or obviously written rather than experienced stories.

Fantastic story

Listened to the first 2 stories. Not only were they not scary but it had so much detail that it was terribly boring. There’s this creepy music in the background that makes me anticipate something happening. But these first 2 stories are probably the most uninteresting stories I’ve ever heard on KZread.

It’s got a great voice and a good taste, but you really need to work on your story section. There’s a lot of unnecessary details, and the whole thing becomes jumbled and convoluted.

Sweet tap dancing Buddha! That first story was a slog to get through. It had every bad horror writting cliche', with "suddenly", "out of nowhere", "my blood ran cold" and my personal favorite, "the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end." The story itself is clunky, and over explans everything, and not that well, might I add. They tell, instead of show. Worse yet, they tell too much. Also, the way the narrator awkwardly paused when saying "Trick...Or...Treaters", was cringe inducing. Just save yourself the mental anguush, and avoid the first story all-together.

“So we broke up but stayed friend” Maybe you wanna work on proofreading your story’s for grammar bro.

Hahaha, the only time I correct spelling or grammar is when a comment to point out someone else’s mistake also contains an error itself. Too fun to pass up! There’s an old saying that applies here, “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” We all make mistakes and English is not everyone’s native language so I don’t wig out over minor errors. If you’re going to correct someone else though, for goodness sake proof your own work! 😂😂😂
