An excerpt from a story I've been writing: Tarris turned to his 500 brave Valeans, their faces caked with dirt, their steel armour blackened with mud, and their eyes full of despair, as they looked upon the vast Norse host, they glanced at one another, they knew the end had come. Tarris knew this as well, yet his sword gleamed as magnificently as ever when he drew it from it's gold-encrusted sheath. And when he spoke, his voice was heavy with the truth: "Lads, the 20th is finished, we're all that's left" He pointed his sword towards the encroaching horde. "If those bastards get through, your families will be slaughtered, your homes burned, your way of life erased from history" One by one, the men nodded in agreement, sombre, sad, but accepting of their fate. Their were tears in Tarris' eyes now. "I am glad to have known each and every one of you.... I'll see you in the World Above!" He shouted, raising the blade high above his plumed helm. The air rang through the valley as the Men of Valea drew their swords, their war cries drowning out the drums of the Norsemen. "Valea nu Dara!" Tarris cried. "Valea nu Drakken!" Five hundred voices replied.

Vincent Rogers Nah mate this is only in the first chapter, although of course this is certainly the same scenario but on a smaller scale, only these guys get wiped out virtually within minutes because they're on open ground. There are three plotlines in this first story of mine (I plan on writing more, but I've only just started this one so yeah), the first is a war between the Valeans and a confederation of Norse Tribes told through the eyes of a common soldier, the second is a Valean Prince corrupted by a magical crystal who eventually unites all of there enemies under his rule, and the third follows the young King himself as he struggles with his new position after his father's death.

Atra Lupus well you can jot down on a notebook after you wakeup (if you remember nothing, write "nothing"). After a couple of weeks you will be remembering 3 dreams or more per night, its crazy! And of course, then you can try an LD, but thats a whole different story.

I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage when this song came out, and I was feeling distraught, hopeless, and alone. It seemed like every time I got in the car and turned the radio on, this song was playing and tears would steam down my face. It was the perfect reminder to me that no matter what happened, my hope was in Christ alone and He would never let me down. Eventually, God restored my marriage and He continues to be my hope no matter what I have to face in this life.

Standing on the battlefield focusing on the enemies infront of us. The pounding of my heart became stronger. My sword was gripped tightly. We fight for our country. Our freedom. And for the hope of our people. One nation against another nation. A bloodbath. Only one will come out victorious. Looking at my friends, my second family;I realized today might be the last time I see their faces. The last time any of us could see our families. The taste of freedom hangs high above our heads. Waiting to be grabbed. Nodding my head we looked forward once more. THIS IS IT. “CHARGE!!” Yelling our battle cries we raced forward slashing our enemies down. Blood splattered everything and everywhere. Screams heard while the clanging of swords met with other swords or the sound of bodies being pierced. Waking up I was in the hospital being treated. “Our lone survivor. Welcome back warrior” Lone… survivor. I was fortunate to be alive but at the cost of my comrades parishing. May your lives be honoured fallen ones. “Did we win?” “We sure did. Your comrades would be proud” Looking up to the sky smiling I heard running as I looked down to be swarmed by my wife and two children. I’m glad I can live to see them grow up. The end. I seriously don’t know why this came to mind but here’s a short story. Give a like if you like :)

I too have often used this music for writing epic fight scenes, ESPECIALLY if they involve a lot of shooting and explosions.

I came home from a long day of school, made a cup of coffee and tried to get started on my presentation. I didn`t know where to start without getting frustrated. Kinda afraid to mess it up. You don't have to be smart or strong to master your life, but become one with the path that life gives you. We all live too much in the imagination of humanity. We forget that we only have one life. We lean too much on what doesn't challenge us, makes us weak, on what makes us feel good and makes problems go away. But the more we hide from the truth that many things in this world can get better, the more primitive we think and act. Although the first paragraph doesn't line up with the second, I find both correct and interesting. I made these up to solidify my opinions. What is certain is that without effort, change is just as impossible as recognition. We should live our lives the way we want and not allow ourselves to be enslaved. Music makes me think creatively, it can even change minds and work wonders. We all may think of legends or heroes when listening to epic music. Although these were not something particularly special than us, because human beings are human beings, they are held in high esteem or almost revered. Only two things brought these heroes to their fame. Different thinking and recognition. The will to change something works wonders. In the beginning you may be considered a fool, but later celebrated. And we need more of them most of all in our time. More heroes, more thinkers. DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE, USE IT!

good music for Bloodborne

I was reading my biology textbook, and I had to read a whole module in one day on a hard topic (30+ pages). I listened to this while I was reading, and I realized it wasn't as hard as I thought. Before long, I finished the whole module in one sitting. It's amazing what epic music can do to you. If you put your mind to something and try as hard as you can to make it happen, it can happen. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

I was working on a middle age times story and few of these helped me continue writing what to put next with the rythmn during a war section I'm doing. (Like dancing with a song that go along with each other as an example)
