What was the tube or solid state one for you in the end? If you had to choose between the two which would you choose?

The tube amp has more character and tubey sound the solid state sounds a little tubey but not really. So it depends on what sound you want. I never got to hear dual AI1.10 which would have been interested because my lasting memory of the AI1.20 was a a pair of them and that was awesome

@@PursuitPerfectSystem I would like to associate one of them with the proac Tablette 10 sig. but I'm afraid the tube doesn't have as firm and consistent bass response as solid state might. Now I run them with a Unison Hybrid amp and the bass is a little soft but I like the tube feel it gives me, it engages me. Remember the low range between the two if it was controlled? I could choose the tube in triode mode if it had fairly controlled low range, otherwise I could be safe with solid state which should resemble the sound of a hybrid amp.

I have had the Unico 150 here and that was less tubey sounding I think than def the 1.10 maybe even the 1.20. I also dont remember the the 1.10 not having good enough bass control of my KEF REF 3 (speakers at the time) but I suppose it depends on what your comparing it to. Hard one. I really liked the 1.10 I loved the 1.20 as a pair less so on its own if that helps. I appreciate hard one sometimes to make big decisions

@@piko1982 maybe given the nature of the speakers slightly non standard impedance contact Canor and ask them what they think. They should know best def better than me

Ohhh Canor is it an alternative to PassLabs or Audio Note...mmmmmmm. Never heard of the brand. But only rca inputs...? Price...
