The scaling is off on the American MUSCLE cars because Racing Champions used old, hood open molds from the mid 90's that began life in the 'Racing Champions Mint Edition' or '50 Years of NASCAR' series. Those cars were not scaled in 1/64 scale as the Fast & Furious cars were. Instead, Mint Edition were always: 3.25 inches in length, therefore the actual scale varied across the Mint Edition series depending on the size of the vehicle.

Are you familiar with the 1/64 Revell Fast stuff? The packaging looks almost the same as the Racing champions stuff. I was asking to see if they were different or just the same cars repackaged.

Indeed I am! The cars are different. I've cracked those open as well. I personally like the Racing Champions better but the Revell ones are still cool!

They don’t. That do have Hectors civic though. Revell only made 5 or 6 castings

I have an evo with the opening hood from Tokyo drift its the same chassis as the 2f2f evo. my evo came with a nos bottle launcher thing, the engine has good detail

yes it's the joy ride red nos bottle one with the same evo chassis as the racing champions one, I don't have the actual joy ride style one which is a fat version of the evo like the "dub city" cars. the first couple of cars joy ride released were racing champion chassis with the joy ride branding
