Is tacky glue dry instant or you have to give it time?

That's a great question! Tacky glue is thicker than regular white glue so definitely dries quicker but not as quickly as hot glue. Generally hot glue will dry in a few seconds. White glue takes about 20-30 minutes before the object will settle in place without slipping or moving around. Tacky glue in my experience dries enough within a minute or two that you don't have to worry about the objects slipping out of position. White glue takes probably a half hour before you don't have to worry about your objects moving or slipping. Depending on the craft project, I would prefer tacky glue as an alternative over white glue and hot glue. And it dries clear too.
