Progresso is roughly a 30 minute drive North of the city of Merida in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico.
After 2 days in Progresso I'm leaving feeling like it has been enough time here, however that also may have something to do with there being NO vegan restaurants or even half vegan restaurants here as well as having the cheapest one night stay in town being over $30 a night.
If there was a vegan restaurant here and a cheaper place to sleep I would forsure stay and do some sunset bird watching, more boating activities and maybe even do some kite surfing lessons anyways.
