2 days / 48 hrs NO FOOD | FAST tracking my fat loss

Day 20 - 23 of my 8 week FAT LOSS journey and I chuck in 48 hours with ZERO CALORIES.
Fasting is a great way to remind myself the difference between wanting food and actually needing to eat.
IMPORTANT: My channel is a summary of what I am doing, not a recommendation to follow. I have done multiple multi day fast and I am fit and healthy enough to do so. You should never conduct a fast of any length without having researched whether it is suitable and appropriate for YOU.

Every time I do one of these they get easier. Such a good reminder of what "hungry" really is! Anyone else doing these?

I did back to back 72’s (with a few 24’s on the odd weekend) for six weeks a few years back.

Been following the channel for a few weeks now. I love your honesty, sincerity and humbleness. Inspired me to do a 48 hour fast next week. Have done 3 days b4 and it was tough.

I’ve been regularly doing a 16:8 fast for a while now, just seems to fit my life style but have just done my first 48hr fast….. finishing….. (now). Wasn’t even any really struggle, a little bit of hunger at 24hrs (6pm day1) when preparing the kids dinner, but the last 24hrs were even easier than the first 24hrs..

Good stuff. I do 16:8 mostly but have shyed away from the longer fasts. I'll give it a go. Understanding head hunger vs stomach hunger was a game changer for me and I often let it slide. No more!

Just reminded me about fasting. Used to do it regularly. Then things went a bit crazy the last year and I haven’t done it (fasting that is) for a while. And I definitely felt and looked better when I did. This video was a great reminder / motivator to get back to it. Thanks again.

I have never done more than 24 Mark but your channel is pushing me on. I think I’ll go for it although I will definitely wait until this heat subsides as it is killing my motivation!

You make a very compelling and engaging case for the 48 hour fast! And full respect for balancing the weights, racing and fat loss. It would likely require you to be at a much lower body fat before you started to really feel tired and lethargic in my experience 👍

Inspiring stuff. 👍 Have been trying I/fasting (16/8) alongside you and so far >4Kg loss and feeling good and I wasn’t even that overweight to start with. As a cyclist, I’m looking forward to not lugging this extra weight up the hills. Think I might try the 2 days now too… you don’t make it sound too scary. Cheers.

My longest fast was 60hrs. I didn't really feel hungry. But I thought it was best to eat as I had to go to work. I'm a train driver!

I was once 95 kg. Then I was 88. And now, thank 17-7 fasting for 9 weeks I am today 81 kg. Wonderful. Best method. I will never stop. Maybe at the cemetery. Then I will do maybe a longer fasting.

Great video Mark - motivating us all. Are you ever going to do a video about some of those sweet looking bikes in the background?
