Thank you very much sir. I am not a commerce student. Infact I took science in my 11th. But in my B.Tech 4th semester there was a subject Finance and Accounting. I was always afraid how would I score in this subject with all these trial balances, cost sheet, pay back period, journal, ledger without prior commerce knowledge in such short time span. But eventually 3-4 days before my exam I found your videos. Your way of teaching was so concrete and to the point that my commerce numericals fear vanished and I confidently took my semester exam.

Hello Sir , Earlier you said that wether it be productive or unproductive wages if the term wages comes you have to go for factory overhead but in the above question productive wages was considered to be direct cost

Another name of "Direct Labour" is "Productive Wages" and direct labour comes while calculating "Prime Cost". Direct Labour can also be defined as "Productive Labour", "Manufacturing Wages" and "Productive Wages".
