Thank you for making this so clear. I did watch someone knitting brioche in the round a few days ago, and it was frustrating. Mainly because the person giving the tutorial did not explain clearly what the brioche stitches were called. I feel so empowered after seeing your video! I am not even afraid to try this hat when I was about to settle for making a cowl that I don't even like. Lovely brioche hat! 🤩🤩🤩

HI There. Thanks for the tutorial. How many stitches for a double knit yarn hat? i usually work 120 stitches for a standard sized hat for myself, as i like a loose hat. would i cast on the same number of stitches for brioche? just don't want to end up with a hat too big/ too small and unable to wear it after all that hard work... thanks in advance.

What size knitting needles are you using?

If it says work 11 times does that mean 11 times with color one and 11 times with color 2? I assume it takes each color around to make 1 round.

Do u have cowl pattern

Hi! I have a question. The pattern says to do rounds 1 & 2 a total of 12 times but when you start the Liguria pattern it doesn’t look like you have that many rows? Thank you so much for doing this video - I was just about to give up on ever learning brioche when I stumbled across your video! You are an excellent teacher! ❤️❤️❤️

Mary Caron when you knit brioche it takes two rounds to make one pass like in regular knitting so it’s really equal to six rows. You can make the ribbing however long you prefer but just end on the pearl so you can knit and start the pattern correctly.

@@sjstokke But the pattern specially says to do main color round 1 and CC round 1 EACH 11 more times, so it seems like you should have done 24 rounds/12 rows.

Your video is very nice but the sound it is very difficult to hear and understand....
